The other GM's can decide for themselves. Do they want to add someone who will probably end the season with 25 goals and 60 points? How many other top 6 forwards are available? Ryan Smyth was traded to Long Island for Nilsson, O'Marra and a 1st (he finished that season with 68 points). Granted, he brings more leadership, grit and has been a more consistent scorer over his career than Antropov, but there is no way the difference is that great.

Nashville trades Koistinen for a 4th

Nashville balks at a trade offer with Philly where JVR is traded for two of their prospects (Goalies and defenseman)

Antropov will get a 1st rounder, Burke publically called him out too get him playing to 'up' his value.

There is going to be very few sellers this year, so guys like Antropov, Kaberle, etc... will gain a big return.

According to TSN, Burke was asking for Voracek in exchange for Antropov. Columbus wants more. I think a possible trade of Antro+Pony for Voracek is realistic.

I don't see the Flyers making a move with JVR UNLESS it's to get JayB in return. In saying that, the deal will NOT include Hartnell in it, to get JayB[If it goes down].

If Nashville/Philly come together again, it'll be something not as big as the whole forsberg deal to acquire Hamuis[Sp?] from Nashville.

[Just my opinions btw]

And Antropov has scored 40 how many times? and in the playoffs he has done what?

Trying put Antropov anywhere near Smyth is a joke

How many times has Antropov scored goals in a year?

How many times 20 goals in a year?

http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=36977

Big Nik is an UFA after this season with 3 playoff points in 28 games

Deadline moves will be centered on players who have done some damage in the playoffs--Nik has done none

for the record

Smythe has 52pts in 81 playoff games
has scored 30+ goals 4 times
20goals + 8 times

BigNik has scored more then 20 once

I consider that a BIG difference

and no GM has run Smyth out of town like Burke is doing with BIGNIK

I agree butbut I could see Nashville making a move to send a defensive prospect or a goalie prospect to build up their forwards.

Fair enough, I just don't think JVR will go to Nashville, unless Homer is blown away with something spectacular.

Burke is an jackass. Voracek has far more value than Antropov. Antropov would be nothing more than a 3rd liner on every playoff team + he's an UFA at the end of the season. I really hope no team trades a 1st round pick for him because he's not worth more than a 2nd rounder.

Oh, and there is no way Columbus trades Voracek for Antro + Pony!
