I wouldn't base the Force and their love of fights on their game against the Gamblers. The Gamblers...lack discipline, to put it politely. Or, at least they did last year. The only thing they HAVE to fire the fans up is the fisticuffs.

Fargo wins the home opener 2-1 over Sioux Falls. Their reward? Right back on the road Saturday at Lincoln.

Sounds like the game had a bit of everything for the folks at the new UP Center.

I've been pretty impressed with the Force the two times they have visited Lincoln. Both were losses, but the Stars had to come back from behind in the third period to win the first game. The Force didn't have Mike Lee in net last night, so that score wasn't as close. Lee is a fantastic talent. I think he makes the Force a much better team. IMO, they will miss out on the playoffs this season...but not by much.

I'd really like to take a road trip up to Fargo when the Stars visit. How difficult is it to get tickets?

Shouldn't be to tough at all.The place holds 5,000 fans so I highly doubt they will sell out although they did opening nite.I can get some for ya if you have problems.

Ouch, just read today Nick Oliver suffered a broken collarbone last week. He was going to be playing for Roseau anyway for most of the season but now he's out till at least Christmas.

Fargo is definitely one of the best expansion teams I've ever seen come into this league. They currently stand in 3rd place in a weaker West division and should make the playoffs this season. I really hope the USHL makes it in Fargo this time around since it is a good hockey market.

Hmmmm. Do I know you? Why are you calling me boy?

Congrats on the big weekend. Mike Lee is a fantastic goaltender. I really hope your team jumps ahead of Omaha in the standings, but it seems like Fargo has issues with consistency.

Not sure why you feel the need to name call, but whatever. Not very mature on your part.

Excuse me for the me boy deal.Just something I do on another web site with the gopher fans.Meant nothing by it.Sure they will be inconsistent,I mean they are an expansion team for cryin out loud.Did you know Omaha went 0-48 their first year in the league. Now that's funny.
