Mistakes? The Predators cannot make ANY. With Hossa, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and the likes on the ice the Predators need to be perfect.

Well, we shall see how this one turns out...too many tickets not sold right now for comfort. We need folks to show up for this one!

Holmstrom's big butt will be in the press box and not in our crease, there's your silver lining.

Weak call on Jones. Weak call on Smithson. What the heck? The Red Wings don't need extra penalties to beat us. Unbelievable.

And of course, Conklin with an oscar winning dive 2 feet outside of the crease to put the Wings on another powerplay.

On Conklin? It clearly deflected off the glass from what I saw. You could hear it.

The 7 on 5's tonight were brutal- the guys in black pants laid the smackdown on us as often as the guys in red and white. Lethal combo. Actually, it was a fun game to attend even though we couldn't get the job done. Ugly SOG totals. We really have a fun barn-sometimes it's easy to forget when our team is struggling. Pretty decent crowd. Not worth the effort to post the negatives- it is what it is.

I didn't know Conklin was a street-corner girl, but man he sure as **** sold it tonight on the "goal-tender interference" call tonight

Well that sucked. Outworked from the opening faceoff.

Arnott directly lead to 2 Det. goals. On the first goal he iced the puck, then lost the faceoff and Det scored off the rebound from the point shot. The second goal he was in the box for the PP goal.

Terrible officiating.

Kind of hard to win when the other team has a goal or two and 15-18 shots before we even had 3 total shots. 27-8, in the first period, at home. They should be embarrassed.

Great goal by Ward. I was expecting Rafalski to knock the puck away but Ward just kept driving to the net and then slipped it past Conklin.

This probably would have been a good game if Preds showed up in the first period.

Its hard not giving up alot of shots when you are constantly killing penalties. I wish our PP was half as smooth as the Wings. Ticky tack calls all night long. The only goal Rinne gave up I had a problem with was the 3rd, that was weak. Ward played outstanding. I'm glad they battled back into it atleast.

Oh well onto the Blues we HAVE to win that one.

Unfortunately, the only weak goal Rinne gave up turned out to be the game winner.

Ward's line played an outstanding game. As others have said, amazing how good 3-4th liners can be when played on the 3-4th line. Bad effort by Arnott last night. And there were several extremely weak calls last night-- Jones penalty, Legwand/Conky dive, even one against the red juggernaut. At least they did not lay down on us.

I wouldnt call it weak by any means. First off, the shot was deflected off of Webers stick and completely changed directions. Secondly, backhands are hard to judge where they are going anyways, much less when they change flight/direction.

Weber totally screwed up on one goal, I'd of expected him to check (or atleast poke check) the guy.
