Yeah, thats true forsure. I'm sure hes looking forward to his return there. The other most likely option like you said would be to scratch Bouillon and O'byrne and have Briser and Dandy play D. Carbo said last week though that he'd like to start Dandy up front for a few games to ease him back in but at this point he can't do any worse than the guys that have been back there. I wouldn't be opposed to either of those moves personally. Regardless of who's in and who's out everyone has to play better so hopefully they have a good effort tonight.

Congrats on the win btw. We always blow it the first game home after a road trip. If you think your team sucks, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Haha fair enough. I meant you guys werent exactly the most physical team and are known as a team who skates well especially on home ice so i figured Dandy being a better skater than Big George might be the better option as there'll probably wont be much rough stuff.

Seriously the Oilers have no style or identity. We're not a fast-skating team and anything you hear about our supposed "great ice" is completely exaggerated. The Oilers "style" is spending most of the game hemmed in their own zone because they can't make a breakout pass and the odd occasion you'll see them in the Habs zone is when they predictably dump-and-chase, always shoot from the outside and pray for a goal. "Oilers hockey" is dead. They are competing with the Wild for the most boring team in the NHL. But at least the Wild are good at being boring, the Oilers seem content with the fact that they consistently suck and make terrible excuses when they lose 10-2 and 8-3. You guys have NO idea how frustrating it is to follow this team.

And I mean it when I say congrats. I'm not trying to jinx you or anything, trust me the Habs will win. The Oil are more than happy to break the losing streaks of struggling teams; if we win I'll eat my hat!

I was so sad when I woke up today and realized I had only dreamed about this game. In my dream we won 5-2 and Koivu had a hat trick, and the whole team played a solid game

Well, I hope it's even half as good as my dream, haha, Go Habs Go!

well let me tell you that, the Habs have way of making teams like the Laffs look like last years Red Wings in the finals.

Edmonton sucks too, I can't wait to move back to Montreal. But I'll know better this time and not get a place near Masson in Rosemont. Amazing city. And I swear NO one in Alberta makes good poutine and they say it funny.

let's try and be optimistic.
You're setting yourself up for disappointment.
3-2 win will do just fine

I was looking at the players' stats that I have for their last 13 games. Of note :

- Andrei K has the most goals : 6
- Andrei M has the most points : 11

- O'Byrne is +2 in 5 games, the only + player
- Komi is even

- Gorges is -13 in 12 games
- Bouillon is -11 in 13 games
Maybe they should not be playing together. Could Brisebois (not my favourite) and Dandy (must be rusty) do better?

- Plekanec (4), Kovalev (6), Lats (2 in 10), Higgins (2 in 7) did not produce at expected levels, among most others.

No one expected us to win going into Calgary after 3 games in 4 nights after and a flight out west against the Flames. Now that we have settled down out west, I would expect a win tonight.
