Seattle Thunderbirds hockey arena...

Wanted to know something about the new hockey arena in Kent, Washington for the WHL Seattle Thunderbirds.. I just noticed that arena while watching WHL games on Shaw this past weekend and wondered when was that arena built and opened and how many seats... also I wonder if the new arena would be NHL-ready or just limited to junior hockey at all??

It opened about a month ago and has about 6,000 seats. So no, not NHL-ready.

Nice arena, I went to my first game there a few weeks ago, but as stated way too small for the NHL. Official ice hockey capacity is listed at 6500. I was watching a Tbirds game on FSN one night ,and one of the commentators said he was in the locker room and it's better than a lot of locker rooms in NHL arenas.
