Pens and Sharks heading into overtime tied 1-1. Boucher has 34 saves so far. Sign him in the offseason

And Rob Blake just took a dumb penalty.

Pens win in a shootout. Crosby with the only goal

The Sens were called for 14 penalties in today's game against the Sabres. It was the most since 1995.

Over/Under on penalties called in tomorrow's game: 23

Just traded Samuelsson for Ennis and Dvorak in my keeper league.

Not bad IMO, Ennis gives me a nice all-offense prospect (I have quite a few 2-way guys).

I don't mean to post hockey stuff in your lounge, but this seemed the appropriate place to ask a question I already know the answer too without creating a thread.

Who's more valuable to the organization? Richards or Carter?

Thats a tough question.

But it has to be Richards. Captain for 12 years.

Although I hope Carter is around just as long.

But then theres that ****ing salary cap.

Richards and it's not even close. Not saying that Carter isn't important to the organization but Richards is worth much more

I dunno, as much as I love Richards, Carter already is the better player (yes, it's true) and seems to be taking on more of a leadership role.

The main reason I would take Richards by a whisker is his cap number because Carter is going to be a huge expense when that time comes.

But if I could have 10 seasons of 1 of them (cost excluded), I'd take Carter. Leaders are easier to find than potential 50 goal scorers who can also pass the puck.

Florida. I think Stafford's going to be an above average player for a long time and Kotalik with a second just makes it better than Horton alone.

Not trying to sound like a dick, but what difference does it make if they're two way players in a fantasy league?

By 2-way, I mean guys like Wilson, Eller, Soderberg, Deschamps, Abdelkader, and etc.

I still think those guys will put up points and maybe +/- and PIMs, but my only real pure offensive guys were Hornqvist and Lemtyugov and Lemtyugov went back to Russia.

Now my top-5 prospects are J. Bernier, Wilson, Eller, Soderberg, and Hornqvist/Ennis which is fairly solid IMO.

I also have Lashoff, but I'm not putting too much stock into d-men, it's easier to find a 40 point forward than a 40 point d-man and the F will be a lot cheaper.

I traded Campbell for Boyle (LA) and Giroux in my Dynasty league. Who wins?

I did it cause I like the two prospects and I couldnt afford to sign Campbell with Gomez, Gabby, Kipper and the like eatting my cap space.

If cap space was an issue, I think it was a good move.

I've recently begun watching great movies I never got around to before. Tonight I watched Rocky. Great movie and very Philadelphia.

"Yo Adrian. You wanna go down to the Spectrum, watch a game, you know?"
