Line Combos: Lines for tonights game

Carbonneau has really outdone himself this time.

I can understand him wanting to turns around, but those lines have to be the worst ones he ever put together.

Well, it's well known for thoses following the Habs that Dandy and Breezer didnt play last couple of games... and we were still bad!

An energy guy on every line... It could be interesting as long as they don't start taking penalties. It'll certainly make the Habs a grittier team. Every line (more or less) has a digger, a playmaker, and a shooter...

it makes sense since we have been horrible defensively so Carbonneau is trying to put 5 defenseman on the ice at a time

A lot of people ripping Dandy here............ he was playing great hockey before he got injured - as a defenseman mind you.

Bouillon is the guy who should be sitting. Dandy should have been slotted beside Gorges on defense. Scratch Francis and O'byrne. Let Brise play beside Roman for a while. They tend to play well together, as opposed to when Brise has to play beside Bouillon.

One of the bottom pairing d-men will be moved by March 4th. I guarantee.

Nearly everything else has been tried. There'd be the same amount of stupid flak if the lines that have failed so miserably in delivering consistency over the last ten games were to remain so.

Where you see a system, I see confusion and an attempt at adapting to the other team pretty much on a nightly basis. Which is failing hardcore these days. We have skill and speed, yet very little effective forecheck and slow puck movement. Carbo can't reel this team in. So the answer... Heh let's go bowling and put together ridiculous lines that clearly won't be the answer in these final thirty games. That'll do it.

FWIW, I'm not big on bashing our team, but this is getting stupid beyond belief.

This is the NHL for god sake !! Not some garage league where you're friend can play defence or forward...

Carbo is the problem plain and simple after watching this line-up tonight !!
