Apparently, the Habs can get worse. At least Dandenault had a good game..

no bright side

only way this will change is for montreal fans to stop attending games

gainey and gillette did nothing the last 2 years when the team had a shot in march because it would cost money.

On the actual bright side, we played a good third period. Players seemed to be clicking. I have a large feeling that we're going to mow down the Avs on Friday...

On the bright side it no longer hurts to see the Habs lose. I have become a more calm, beaten down, skinned like a wabbit, relaxed Habs fan. I have become comfortably numb.

Quote:
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse,
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.

Hell no, I have less worries on my mind when we win. Habs win, much easier to study.

Getting drubbed 13-4 in the last 2 games, let's check out the +/-

Komisarek -3
Plekanec -3
Kovalev -3
Higgins -4
Markov -4
Kostitsyn -5

Josh Gorges +4

*only 1 other player on the team has finished with a + rating in either of the last 2 games. Mathieu Dandenault, playing only 1 of the last 2, finished +1

The Habs are setting a trend of futility that will be difficult to keep up:

5-2
6-2
7-2

If they lose by a deficit of less than 6 in Colorado, that's a moral victory! How's that for positivity?

Price's GAA improved from 12.00 after the 1st to 7.00 by the time the game ended

You can just give me your tickets genius, there's a thread on it already....it turned out to be a bad idea. Go figure

Yeah, screw you Gainey & Gilette for not spending above the cap limit, oh wait how do we fit a 6 million dollar player into a 2 million dollar slot? Better yet, lets sell a bunch of parts for a 30 game rental player, SWEEEEET.

Do something about it? There's a bunch of different reasons why players go somewhere else. Gainey & Co never came out and said that taxes are a reason why a player signs somewhere else, media and fans use it as an excuse to feel better about rejection.

Ass

We played a good third period......even outshot the Oilers 17 - 5. The players did battle to the end; actually showed some pride.

For all the problems the Habs are experiencing, it starts and ends with goaltending. If we ever get some, the team will rebound.

Last night's 3rd period was a start.
