Well, I'm in the Airforce, aircrew on c-17's. Most airman have "handles" or nicknames. I earned my handle "Hole" while I was deployed. Ya, I'll save that story for another day. anyways, My last name is Roscoe, so...1+2 = Roshole

My name is a gaming name I made up for the first computers I gamed on at work! Long ago to hide my identity sorta... And to have fun with my name at the same time! But it got out, an even my bosses called me Randar after a while an my last name begins with T. so Randart is me! And its my email address too. Kinda infamous now!

The original Audi Quattro was a 4WD (or AWD) supercar - do you actually have one of those?

no, no...just a humble 99 A4. But it is AWD

For those who may not know, Quattro is what Audi calls it's all-wheel drive (AWD) system, a technology so superior, it was actually banned in touring car racing because the Audi cars made a mockery of the competition and none of the other manufacturers could compete.

I got a ride in the mid 80s in one of the early 80s factory Quattro rally cars - scared the living poop out of me, and I'm used to rides in some pretty serious supercars.

Long story. But it has to do with BBS's, screen names, and stuck-up a-holes.

It's the screen name that I used to register at The Roundtable and LGK back in 1998 when I was a fat high-schooler weighing in at 240.

I was 18 when I was first introduced to hockey back in '96. The first game I ever saw (on tv) was game six of the Stanley Cup Finals between Colorado and Florida. I naturally became an Avs fan even though the friends who introduced me to the game were, and still are, diehard Kings fans (no pun intended Diehard ). Can you really blame me? When I first saw the Kings play the following season they were horrendous and not as nearly fun to watch as the Avs. The first game I saw live was the following season at the Great Western Forum between the Avs and Kings. We had 3rd row seats from the glass and just to the right of the Kings bench. It was an awesome game. I remember getting a close up shot of Storr as he was the riding the pine in this game. All this aside, the Kings were always my 2nd favorite team. And since they were local, we went to many home games over the next few year. I would always root for the Kings unless the Avs were in town.

Then the lock-out occurred, and when they came back the league had instituted a salary cap. When this occurred, I decided to give my full allegiance to the Kings, since they would now be able to compete with the 'elite' teams (the teams that seemed to have the money to spend on all of the players; Colorado, Detroit, Dallas, New Jersey). The first site that I found was Rich's site, and choose the name LA Kings 2010-2011 Stanley Cup Champions!!! (which I still use whenever I post over there.) But that name was a little long, so when I found this site, I decided my name should be a combination between my two favorite Kings players - Calder (Grease) & Cammalleri (Squid).

As an added bonus, my name also sounds like a hot date after some drinks at the club on a Saturday night

I didn't read the whole thread, but mine probably wins the prize for geekiness. I give my character the nickname "Shootmaster" in this online roleplaying pro wrestling thing I was in years ago and the 44 is my football number. I kept using it because it was easiest to remember.

Be glad it wasn't a German and the Schlumpfe reference came out... BTW...Schlumpf is another word for 'dumb'...

Ludwig is my first name...and I've been a life long Kings fan... Hence the screen name... There may have been a mad king by that name...but I just ignore that reference...

I don't know what will happen first...me admitting to being over 39 (which I will NEVER do)...or the Kings winning three or more cups in my lifetime...

Oh...that and Santa Claus was already taken...

That is awesome. I would love to ride along with a pro rally driver, their car control is just nuts

That reminds me of the post from I cant remember who on this board, regarding I think it was Goat-chay's cough up of the puck that cost us the game vs. Detroit and the poster was screaming at Goatchay and it turned out his parents were sitting right in front of him, and they turned around and let him (the poster) have it.

Quattro I indeed love mine too! 01 S8, slick slick ride.

I have been using the same user name since I started logging onto message boards. I use to be a huge ford mustang fan (not so much after being introduced to European cars). My user name is the color + type + my birth year.

Funny because both my S8 and Cobra are for sale. I want a diesel Q7 and a 84-89 Landcruiser!
