That makes more sense then all the other speculation I've read so far.

Of course, this might also require God intervening to create a new playoff system wherein the first seed plays the 15th seed (Whoever finishes eight either misses the playoffs or gets a bye; that part of the prophecy hasn't come to me yet).

God doesn't really care about us that much! He'll have us finish 9th just like he did 2 years ago.

Actually, they finished 10th 2 years ago, so the joke is on you. Ha ha.

He loved us so much that he made us lose the 8th place in the last game against Toronto

Watch the top members viewing this thread, and watch how many Bruins end up in here. Actually it works better when you have the word Bruin in the thread name.

For God so loved the Habs that he sent the Boston Bruins, that each time we need a playoff series win, we will be matched up against them.

It is written.

Thor wants the Habs to beat the Bruins? I would have thought that he was too busy fighting Jörmungandr to be concerned with the affairs of men.

A HA! Its the old rope a dope..

The Habs are enganged in an elaborate hoax. In fact they are scheming and losing games on purpose in order to finish 8th and meet the Bruins in the first round.

Brilliant this Carboneau is!

Haha my buddy said the same thing today... it's all about having a cinderella year. They'll eliminate Boston in rd 1 to go win the cup after finishing 8th.

Lang is not seriously injured, just resting. His story will be comeback of the year once he's back for the POs.

Those 100th year DVDs will sell like cupcakes!

EXACTLY!

Kovalev and Koivu are actually best of friends and tag team and double date all the time. They're actually taking acting lessons right now to create a false rift in the room.

In fact, this was Carbonneau's idea because he will soon commercialise a line of t-shirts with two versions:

a black t-shirt with: "Do you Koivu" written on it and a white t-shirt with: "Kovy for Kaptain" written on it.

They'll make millions.

Anyway.. why else would anyone dress 8 d-men for a game... I mean.. lets not be ridiculous. My theory is the only one that makes sense at this point.

Poor Bruins will never see what hit them.

I see a first round series heading to Game 7.

Habs VS Bruins.

I see some pretty heavy inter-fanbases bidding...

HABS WIN! HABS WIN!! HABS WIN!!!

One Sixth Of All HFBruins members now have nicks praising the Habs.

Half have Habs-praising avs.

All are crying, pissing, puking every drop of liquid in their bodies. As a matter of fact, Massachusets joins Noo Joysee and becomes a swamp due to the excess liquid.

I heard they're also taking French lessons, to speak to the crown in French come the parade on St-Cath.

PS your t-shirt idea is awesome...
