serious question, does this create a goalie controversy in hab land or does carbo go back to price?

Short-term, Halak gets the start next game probably

Long-term, everyone knows that Price is the franchise goalie

I have been a Habs fan for 33 years and that was truly the ugliest win I have ever seen.

No, Halak will play against Vancouver but you never know with Carbo.

Carbonneau has to go with Halak against Vancouver. This team has desperately needed a goalie to steal a game, and we finally got one. Have to go back with him and give Price some time to work in practice.

Doubt it, but I hope this gives Price a chance to rest a little longer if Halak can keep playing this well. I don't think Price is even 85% healthy yet

We barely beat a cellar dwellar team and got badly outshot and outplayed. The future looks good for the Habs.

there is absolutely no reason that he goes back to Price! we needed an outstanding performance by our Goalie to win and Halak was the one who provided us with that brilliant performance

Why would it create a goaltending controversy?

It doesn't start a goaltending conterversy, but Halak made 46 saves so he deserves the next game.

I thnk the happiest guy for the win and for Halak was Price.

Even if they won, this was painful to watch. Carbo's job has to be in jeopardy as they are looking awful, absolutely awful. I can't understand their approach, nor their system, or whatever it is they tried to do for the last two periods. T
