I Saw Lubo Go Off the Ice...

Was watching this on the Hockey channel and did not notice till after the play but Lubo was hunched over like his shoulder was dislocated... That is my observation only not official or anything but I have seen that look before and often that is the look of it.

Good luck Lubo hope its not to extended an injury!

Oh, what a surprise. Never saw that coming. In all seriousness, this is what most of us were concerned about with Lubo, he is susceptible to injuries due to his size and how he draws attention to himself by carrying the puck often.

Bad for them. He's been their best dman, without a doubt.

.. and good for us.

Sucks for the Oilers and Lubo. I have nothing bad to say about Lubo whatsoever and hope he gets well soon.

Word! Too bad for him but this is no surprise. The older he gets, he is going to be more prone to injuries.

Isn't that the case for every player?

Sure but the guy has a target on his back every game. Small guy + target on his back + getting older = more possibility of injuries. I love meth... I mean math!

Speaking of Edmonton, their wheels are falling off fast. We play them next Saturday at home. There's not a doubt in my mind we can catch up.

I'm not sure how him getting injured changes the merits of the trade, unless someone wants to make the lame case that he is "injury-prone" and saw this coming.

Lubo is a tough player. He can bounce back. Only a serious injury would keep him out for the season, which this is.

The Oilers may be ****ed though for the season.

Shoulder surgery will likely affect him early next season as well

Hey Munnn your a class act all the way - Visnovsky gave his all as a King and to ref that last part is uncalled for.

I won't make the case for him being injury prone but I don't disagree with what I said before:

I feel bad for Lubo, he was supposably promised that he wouldnt be traded and the ngot screwed, now Hes hurt on a team that most likely wont make the playoffs, and now has to sit back and watch the team he played for for so long start to succeed

Yeah let's not make light of this...Lubo gave it all to the Kings and the deal was working out for both teams...except for the fact that Edmonton is missing a character face off guy and a shut down D man now...

We were lucky enough to have Doughty to replace Lubo, the Oilers don't have replacements for Greene and Stoll...

Lubo got run way too many times in his tenure here(without retribution) I am not surprised at all that this is happening.
