Anyway, I'll be at this game. Looking forward to it. I just want a win. I don't care if it's in a shootout or what. Just win the game. Hopefully we can actually give Henrik more than 1 friggin goal to work with.

With that said, 8-0 Flyers.

Hes been good vs the Flyers , but I think its time Henke plays all the games whenever possible. They were off yesterday. He played well in Florida. I say Lundqvist plays

We usually suck in afternoon games...can't see that changing when we're in a funk like this...

I hate to say it but we don't fair well on NBC....please prove me wrong Rangers! Last time I went to a Rangers vs. Flyers game was a Sunday Afternoon and Shanny won it in a Shootout...Let's not go down that road this time. Going to try something new...142-141 W....maybe it will bring luck, who knows....

Be prepared for lots of whining here about how NBC announcers hate the Rangers...

You'd have to think Lundqvist plays. I know Valley has been historically good against the Flyers, but the guy gave up 10 goals in his last outing. I don't think I want to see how he'll do against a team that scores like them.

If we lose to the Blues, that would suck but at least it's not a division opponent. Go with Henke today and Valley tomorrow if you have to use him at all.

I know they're going to hype this up as "these teams could never stand each other since the Flyers entered the league in 1967 and the players are out to just kill one another." I don't blame NBC for hyping up the game. Epecially for the newer fans. But the Pens and Flyers are probably a bigger rivalry now, just like we are with the Devils.

This isn't the 70s any more when it was the Bruins and Rangers skill vs the Flyers brawlers. Probably the least skilled team to ever win two Cups. Least of all. The games would not be seen on Ch.4.
That would have been the perfect era for Mario Lemieux. They wouldn't have clutched, grabbed and leaned on him. Instead he would have pushed around literally by guy's with no teeth. His ankles and shins would have been the perfect target for slashes and hacks. Cross checks to the back would have been common for Mario.

Despite who we're playing. Big 2 points if we can get it.

got 5 games left against them, if we can win 3 out of the 5 and maybe steal a point out of one of the losses that would be big.

Well Milbury does hate the Rangers. No secret. So many fans talk about Avery and what he says. Here's a commentator who went into the MSG crowd with Peter McNabb and one or two others and were trying to beat up as many Rangers fans as they could.

I would love for the NHL to show Avery talking about Dion's GF and than show footage of Milbury beating a fan with his own shoe. Avery has done nothing these idiots who talk about cleaning up the sport hadn't done.

I see a 4-1 loss. One step closer to getting Renney fired Hoping for this outcome.

Save the season, fire Renney.

Once again, facing a tired team who played the day before.
No excuses.

IDK. I started watching some of that game against the Isles. Kind of looked like a walk in the park. 5 -1 Philly. Extremely boring. I know our team can be, but at least the games our close (besides Dallas).

This will get ugly. I have no hopes we will win this game. We're going to be outplayed, outskated and outworked by a team that played yesterday. Business as usual.

On a positive note, I don't have to stay up all night to see it happen. On a negative note, I don't think I've ever seen the Rangers play well in an afternoon game. I mean, even worse than normal that is.

These are the type of games Avery would help out.

Hope we win obviously, but unless Hank gets a shutout I don't see anyway it happens. 3-0 Philly

I don't know what to expect from this team anymore.

Which team will show up?

Any update on Kalinin/Reitz? Might be interesting to give Reitz another go, we may need some aggressiveness and toughness. Let's dress Kalinin tomorrow.

LGR!
