Same three, but for the Devils. Except I'd prefer Pronger, Niedermayer, Bouwmeester (in order).

this thread has gotten pretty redundant... its just the same names over and over and over again... why not pick the 3 guys you want that are realistic possibilities to fill 3 different voids?

using my criteria i would pick the following

1. Jordan Leopold - cheap puck moving defenseman where to cost to acquire shouldn't be too high
2. Steve Sullivan - oft injured but could be a bargain as a result
3. Kevin Weekes - played pretty good in the wake of the Brodeur injury ad would look good behind Kipper in Calgary

If I was a team looking at Toronto's assets:

- D Mike Van Ryn
- D Ian White
- F Alexei Ponikarovsky

All three have been playing some excellent hockey this season, are probably available, and will likely be a lot more reasonable to acquire than the likes of Kaberle, Kubina, Antropov.

Domenic Moore could probably make that list--he'd be a useful pick-up for many of the contenders,

Good thread...Moore and White could be cheap pickups for Montreal. Both are a little what we are looking for

Any team looking to add a solid defensive dman would benefit from Havlid - maybe Detroit with Stewart out on LTIR

I'd love the Canucks to make bid for Leopold - but there's that interdivisional trading faux pas, and I don't know what colorado would be looking for in return - I would like to see a third line player picked up as well (to keep Kesler up on the second line - as mentioned before) maybe Colby Armstrong or even Reinprecht

From an Oilers' perspective:

Bowemeester
Jokinen
Antropov

JBo-Souray
Grebeshkov-Gilbert
Staios-Smid
Strudwick

Penner-Jokinen-Hemsky
Nilsson-Antropov-Cole
Moreau-Horcoff-Pisani
gagner-Cogliano-Brodziak

Of course it's not going to happen, but if LOwe could ice a line-up like this, it would immediately put the Oilers into the contenders' class.
