HAhah! So selfish...

Maybe a trade is coming...because this is not a good excuse to say that he's tired during one of the most important time in the season.

Last days as a Habs player?

He has to be injured, they are just hiding it. The staff would make him play if he was just ''tired''.

Gainey asked Kovalev to stay at home for the rest of the trip.

lines at the practice
we will NOT make the playoffs with this team
just compare it with the top 12 teams in the East and THIS IS THE WORST LINEUP.

plus we have Carbo too.

Well it's the dramatic tone that Villeneuve took. We'll see if it was worth it.

Maybe Gainey will try to evaluate how the team will play without Kovalev for a couple of games.

Gainey on CKAC right now.

And Lang.

The Habs have played most of the season with an entire scoring line on the shelf -- and not a shabby one at that.

i dont think he's injured... if he was injured then they would have said that he has a upper or lower body injury... no need to hide a injury

i think as we said good bye to Huet the odds now seem to say goodbye AK.

IF<<< they deal Kovy were getting something in return which should be a good , i think the demand for his service would be pretty high from the top teams (send him west please)

bring back Lang next season, less headaches? .

Kovalev reste à Montréal

Alex Kovalev n'accompagne pas ses coéquipiers à Washington. Fatigué, il est resté à Montréal.

Les trios de l'entraîneur Guy Carbonneau à l'entraînement :

Higgins - Koivu - D'Agostini

A. Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Pacioretty

Bégin - Lapierre - Kostopoulos

Laraque - Chipchura - Dandenault

ouch

Gainey told him to stay in mtl for the next two games and might not play this weekend

Gainey says that the way he is playing he isnt helping the team... and isnt on the same "longueur d'onde" with the coaching staff

He might have asked Kovalev to think if he wants to be traded. Either he starts playing or he's traded.

Gainey asked Kovy

• To stay home and get rest.
• He's not playing or acting like the coaching staff wants him to.
• All possibilities are open regarding Kovalev.

Gainey was told by the coaching staff that they wanted Stewart up instead of Sergeï.
