One thing the Thrashers truly lack is a goalie coach. I mean a real one, not that guy who pretends to be a "goaltending specialist" yet runs drills with the forwards. I say bring Hedberg in as that guy. He may have outlived his usefulness in net, but I think he still has a lot he can share with Pavelec and Lehtonen for years to come.

My thoughts on hedberg is he just isn't good enough anymore as a reliable backup. He was outplayed by Pavelec at training camp and I don't think the thrashers can afford to carry him again next season regardless of having another year left on his contract. I know the Thrashers have had a bad defence over the years but moose hasn't had a save percentage greater than 90% for the past four seasons and it has gotten worse each year as well.

I guess some have forgot about Pavelec's performance earlier in the year when he came up and played when Lehtonen was hurt.

I know that he struggled but the experience is valuable to Pav's development and I just think he needs more of it.
