Things are getting bad for the other NY team for a change.. so I think us NYI fans can just breathe a little bit a sigh of relief.

I had a dream last night the NYR's went on to win the Stanley Cup.. I almost had a heart attack. It's one thing to be the worst team in the NHL.. but if you guys were to go on and have a season full of awards and accomplishments.. it would make it all the worse.

So here's to a good hockey game tonight: something neither side has seen in a good while. A good ol' fashion hockey game. Hits, fights, goals, saves..

With the NYI coming out on top!

Aside from that, I actually don't understand this post. You don't have much of what, left?

I believe he was talking about patience...& NYR fans not having any left.

Regardless....go Rangers!
Just wiiiinnnnnnn!

I'll go easy...

If the Rangers score the 1st goal....they win like 2-1 or 3-2
If the Isles score the first goal.....they get killed 3-0 or 4-1

In the grand tradition of being just successful enough to get by the Rangers will win this game 3-1.

watch the rangers beat the isles decisively and everybody will fall back in a "everythings ok, we kick ass and we're doing alright" mode...

Why does it always have to be extremes??

If we win, great, hopefully the start of a streak. If not, back to the drawing board.

Fritz is out of the lineup for the Islanders tonight. But they Isles brought Reichlicz(the wrecker!) up from the ECHL to Bridgeport, and there is an unconfirmed report from Islanders point blank that he might be in the lineup for the Isles tonight.

Ugly Loss for the Islanders. Rangers blow them out 7-1 and Redden beats up Okposo

I'm really not looking forward to seeing the Islander fans at MSG...

They are dead last in the league but if the Isles score a goal, they'll start with their trash talking.

I'm finding it hard to root for these players. Whatever result will bring changes is the result that I want. I haven't had any emotional attachment to the games for a while, more of a concerned observer at this point.

The Isles only have two bright spots this season ( 3 if you count the season as being almost over)

Mark Steit

Kyle Okposo --- for us dedicated fans who watch every game ( under heavy medication) we are watching him develop into a good player. Kinda like a big puppy who hasnt quite gotten control over his paws and is sometimes clumsy. Keep an eye on 21---

2-1 OTL for the Blueshirts tonight, same old excuses will be given and no changes will be made.
