...that's what happened to our depth. The fact that we have iced 2 offensive lines all season is actually a testament to our depth.
Lats and S.Kost are not top 6 forwards, just because they occasionally end up on the top two lines doesn't make them that quality.

agreed and some would say Higgins either ! so that gives us 2 top lines and 6 top 6 forwards...ooops pointless post .

Almost all of our forwards at this moment are no better than 2nd liners. There is almost no elite 1st line talent on this team, Koivu can play 1st line along with Kovalev (when he is on his game) A.Kost and Tanguay too but again most of these would make better 2nd liners.

Higgins scored 27 goals last season. If he ain't a Top 6 forward, neither is Andrei Kostitsyn. Neither is any player in the NHL who couldn't score 30 goals.
