DAgostini will have to give us more..

And thats who Plekanec is without Kovalev around.. His game is all about energy and you have to give him energic wingers..

Much better game.
Still sucks to lose though.

Transition game was a lot better tonight...especially in the 3rd period.

Good game by Pleks, MaxPac and Andrei
Great game by Schneider too.

The SO was really disappointing....not even close to score and scored twice very easily.

anyway solid game by the boys, happy with the effort, we could have put this one away late in the third but way it goes. we're looking better right now.
he's 2 for 4 this year, 3 for 6 career

he's probably the best shootout shooter the Habs have (percentage wise)

Really exciting hockey, was on the edge of my seat all of overtime.

I guess we'll take the moral victory, we played amazing.

If Hamrlik is injured for more than a week then we're screwed!

On a games where Franki played his heart out and was possibly our grittiest defenseman against a team as good as washington you post this?

Posts like this hurt my brain. Did you watch the game?

Wow...now I like Nonstopolous, but come on.

Loved seeing him and Stewart out in O/T.....always need some energy in O/T.

This one hurts, but the team looked great. Please, for the love of all that is holy, beat Pittsburgh tommorow.

Time on ice is interesting :

Schneider 27:06
Kostopoulos 21:01
Lapierre 20:02
Stewart 17:16

Markov 25:44
Plekanec 17:56
Kostitsyn 17:44
Koivu 16:59
Pacioretty 13:49

I understand Carbo's plan to shut down Ovechkin with Lapierre but he seriously needs to consider using our first and second lines more than our third... Stewart, which I heart as much as anyone, playing almost as much as Kostitsyn (who scored a goal and tallied an assist) and more than Koivu is ridiculous. Same with Lapierre and Kostopoulos playing over 21min. Energy players need reduced ice time to play with energy or they become less effective (unsurprisingly Lapierre and Stewart are -1, Kosto -2). Schneider was great and he was there for most of our goals but he shouldn't get more TOI than Markov... (I understand Hamrlik leaving didn't help)

Just an observation, the team played well compared to the disaster we've seen recently.

Schneider led all Canadiens skaters in ice time with over 27 minutes logged...two more than Markov!

He made good, crisp passes out of his own zone and to his partner (Markov), so nice to see after our defensive blunders over the last while...

no try 5 years of tanking to get all those sweet draft picks and then we are close btw mtl will never be the caps simply because no one and i mean NO ONE can replace mtl, so screw being like the caps, so canadiens FTW!

What is this, Rudy?

Couldn't give a **** how hard he tries. He's not a good enough defenseman to play everyday. Especially in the playoffs.

****ing Bouillon and Brisebois boosters make me laugh.
