God that video was awesome.. I dont know how the kings are going to pull this out of their bag of tricks but i'm sure it has something to do with scoring the first goal of the game.

I really hope Quick is in goal. I love Ersberg, but we need stay with Quick right now. Let's make a statement out there. GO KINGS!

That is a squad that is ready to lay down their lives for each other. Good stuff. Hockey needs some of that. That pure raw passion. A team that cares so much that they would give or do anything.

Well we know they've been playing good as of late, but the last few seasons we've all noticed the young guys coming up.

I actually love watching Brown play. I'm going to hate him tonight, but otherwise he's great!

Never thought i'd see the haka in a Kings GDT.

Sends a chill up my spine everytime i see it.

New Zealands hockey team also does it, although nothing quite matches up to the All Blacks hakas.

Kings win tonight.

5-3

I wonder if there will be another Gary Greene "I don't think so" in progress...

We need these two points...

We used to do the haka back in high school before every football game. It's funny when both teams are doing it like when we played Carson.

Key difference is the fatigue factor, and the fact that Quick is likely not starting. The Sharks have been able to win playing ugly recently, and so long as the goaltending isn't atrocious, it *should* be a game where LA is playing catch-up for most of it. I'm not saying this to troll - I saw the ANA-LA game (was an exciting game to watch ), but recently, if a team gives up some of those openings to SJ, they're getting burned (referring to if you switch S.Nieds on that d-zone breakdown with Pavelski or Marleau). The Kings are definitely on the right track, and I have them penciled in for about 7th seed in the playoffs, although I'm hoping for 8th so that we can have a North-South battle in the PO's (), but just because the Kings have improved recently doesn't instantly mean a 1 goal differential in SJ's favor in an earlier game is going to become a 1 goal differential in LA's favor now.

That being said, I'm still pretty worried about this game. Nabby's been ice-cold recently, and our 3rd and 4th lines have been shaky, to say the least. I could pretty confidently say that if Marleau is shut down, the Sharks are likely in a major dogfight (i.e. we lose), though his form recently has been, well, superb. Here's to a fun, and hopefully injury free game in anticipation for a playoff matchup

Anyone in LA with Time Warner getting GameHD? I called them a couple of times but they have no clue. I thought we were able to preview in HD as well.

I'm not sure. We were playing pretty much the same crummy hockey a month ago.

Wow what a test for the Kings tonight, going into the Shark Tank at the end of a back to back against the best team in hockey. The key will be matching the intensity of the Sharks, make it a dog fight.
