For whoms the bell tollstsitsyn

With Sergeď sent to the minors and his mentor Kovalev told to stay home in the middle of a huge humiliating slump, do you think Andreď must take the offensive responsabilities of the team and become a more dominant player?

For the two last season i have obsvered him and i think that he's a wise and honnest guy, he got all the skills, he's our only open ice hiter (at forward) and he must be our must agile skater (not fastest). I think he's intelligent enough to understand that he's our only hope right now, and i think he's the kind of guy that will step up in that situation.

Who* do you think will take the offensive responsabilities on this team?

*Koivu has taken his responsabilities since the begining so i dont include him in that question.

I like Lapierre and Kosto but i was ore talking about "offensive" responsabilities, something nobody has taken on this team yet.

You will see it tommorow. If the players are happy with Kovalev being out, they will perform. I am not saying they will win: I am saying they will play with their guts. I even expect Kostitsyn to be even better: he is now the no.1 russian forward on that team. It will be a great game I am sure! No victory garanteed, but watching those guys play will be exciting.

Yeah and he understands very well what's going on, when Sergeď was put in the press box he told the media that Sergueď was put there because he's not playing very well and he deserves it. He's realy mature.

I really hope he can step his game up. If he's given enough time, I feel he could very well be our best player, he has all the tools.

Let's just hope he realizes this and that if this team is going to make the playoffs, he has to play a big part of our success if no other changes are made.

I've been one in the belief all season that we should've been grooming him to take the offensive reins all season.

You're delusional if you think he can ever manage to satisfy this fanbase. We'll want his head one day too.

Yeah, but Carbo puts him on the 4th after one or two games of bad performance....... also changing his linemates all the time..

it's hard to develop this way..

I think Higgins will surely step up, maybe Plekanec will look at the Kovalev situation and see that he has to shape up

If Carbo had ahalf a clue, A.Kost would be playing with Koivu. You can put Pacioretty or Higgins on the other side.
