Price was so weak on the winning goal...

But, what can we say about Crapbonneau, really

If somehow this team makes the playoffs, we are going to do a lot of damage. What an awesome game to watch tonight, but the few errors we committed the Pens capitalized on. Pricey looks a bit shakey still, but I doubt it's anything more than a confidence issue; he needs to track the puck better.

Boy what a difference Kovalev makes, or a lack-of... Pleks and Kostitsyn tearing it up and he's MIA.
understatement of the day !!!

Koivu's line was abysmal.

Can someone tell me why Chipchura is in the NHL ? The guy brings NOTHING ! Don't tell me Begin or another Bulldog couldn't do better.

Price with pretty much zero key save once again.

Stewart played well, skated hard and threw his body around. He deserved to get some ice time but putting him on the ice when you are down a goal with a minute to play is not a good coaching decision.

Maybe Carbo thought we were up by a goal and he had Stewart out there to protect the lead.

We may have ended up with two loses but a big to the boys on that line. Pretty much the only reason we were close in the last two games.

He should have played tonight, even after Price's excellent outing yesterday - back-to-back and Halak was solid as of late, give time for Price to build on his good performance. These goalies are being so mismanaged, it's not even funny.

Because his lane was there right before the Kostopulos one was sent in, at around the 17 min mark.. I was actually hoping to see Koivu-Higgins-AK.

'Cause Carbonneau wants 20 Kostopoulos and Stewart is really close to a Kostopoulos.

Problems on every night :

Coaching

Problems on some nights :

Effort
Goaltending
Defense

Positive :

Offense, but it can't keep up with the goaltending.

We need a real D coach, and someone other than Carbo because his "system" DOESN'T WORK! We have seen games lost time and time again for bad line changes, bad line match-ups, giving too much time to 3rd and 4th lines, constant line mix-ups making chemistry impossible, never using a time-out, forcing an offensively built team to play a "defensive" system that leads to errors because we don't have the players to play this type of game and they mess up.

I could probably go on but seriously, what else needs to be said.

If I were the coach I would never put the Kostopolous line out with a minute and a half left nor on the PP. C'MON! Wake up Carbo!

we NEED chipchura in the lineup

another begin would just mean another grinder playing first line minutes!

Schneider with most minutes played with 24:17, and 7 minutes more than Komi

I appreciate what he brings, but he shouldn't be playing over 20

The Pens will probably pass the Habs in the standings within the next 2 weeks.....

The Habs have allowed 63 goals in the last 15 games which tells the whole story during this losing streak...

At this point, true or not, everything that Kovalev said or didn't say, well he should've said it live somewhere. Some people are just about to find out that Kovalev might be the least of our worries....
