Ok, not really in the mood to sift through 3000 posts to find out what the actual story is (wasted 10 minutes already with no result). What the hell happened?

Turns out they were playing blowup dolls on this road trip and not the actual players!

K. Here i am rocking you like a hurricane, not.

Starting 3 days or so ago

Skost price and Higgins are always together partying like mad and Akost has no control over his brother anymore.
Akova blames the kids for partying the following day which end up unproven.
The next day there's hype like mad that there will be a huge news in la presse the following morning. "Biggest story in history of the team"
To end up that the Kost bros and Hamrlik hangout a guy that is accused of drug dealing. And the guy helps the kost bros with things in life like buying vodka, girls and cars.

Wasnt Skost supposed to hangout with Price and Higgins and not with his Bro? Oh well.

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that we need other sports in Montreal, there's just too many people covering the Habs, they don't know what to come up with anymore. Worse, half of those coming up with "breaking news" are not even journalists. Half of the other half have a vendetta against the Habs or just don't validate what they ware writing about for the sake of coming up with a rare scoop. This season sure is entertaining!

sorry for wasting your time,

thank you for wasting ours.

ok that was mean, let me give you a hint, if you are looking for sport news, try a sport news website. I head RDS and TSN report on the Habs sometimes.

Why would the Kostitsyns need help getting "vodka and girls". That honestly couldn't make any less sense.

what is happening is that somebody on these boards is looking for a very special item.
Wispers (I think he was reffering to mittens)

And not just any mittens, the ones where the fingers are all together....

BUT DON'T TELL ANYBODY ,,, shhhhhh

Lafontaine,

In short, LaPresse came out today with an exclusive saying that an alleged member of the Mob recently arrested for drug trafficking and arms dealing was very closely involved with the kostitsyn brothers.

The two brothers were caught on wiretaps talking with him, and he provided services for them, including cars and girls. I have not read anything about him providing drugs for them, but.... the story is still fresh so there's the potential for that.

Hamrlik has also been implicated with the guy, but far less closely. Apparently the three players and the guy went out partying with each other at montreal clubs frequently.

Another aspect of it that is probably more serious, is that among the papers recovered from the mobsters home were financial documents belonging to the Kostitsyn brothers, with Canadiens letterheads, leaving open the question, why was a known mobster in posession of such documents.

That's the story as I understand it so far.

It's in the La Presse article and reported on RDS, actually. Though it's not "vodka" but "fancy cars".
