Which combinations would you ice tomorrow?
Where do you put Kovalev being the biggest question. I assume you would want to keep the hot line together and try Alex on another line?
Fire away, let's see 'em!
Personally, I would try:
Pacioretty - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Higgins - Koivu - Kovalev
Kostopoulos - Lapierre - D'Agostini
Stewart - Begin - Dandenault
Laraque and Chipchura out for me.

Kovalev will be there for sure... Alone... as he wishes... Doing his little dekes around every Senator's players. He's gonna win 26-24.

Same line-up for me, D'Agostini out, Kovalev in
Once Tanguay and Latendresse are injurie our line-up could look something like this for the playoffs
Higgins-Koivu-Kovalev
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Latendresse-Lappierre-Tanguay
KostopoulosBégin/Chipchura-Laraque
pretty good lookin line-up if you ask me

Personally I don't care. I know we aren't going to get better without a major trade to compliment our Forwards up front.

What do you mean? Same lines as last night, just swapping D'Agostini for Kovalev?

We don't even know if the Canadiens franchise will exist at this time tomorrow. There's still 11 and a half hours left in the "darkest day in Canadiens' history"!

It doesn't really matter what the lines are if guys like Kostopoulos and Stewart are going to get 16 minutes.

tomorrow:
Higgins-Koivu-Kovalev
MaxPac-Plekanec-AK46
Kostop-Lapierre-Dagger
Dandenault-Chipper-Stewart
Laraque and Begin sit.
when Tanguay comes back:
Tanguay-Koivu-Kovalev
MaxPac-Plekanec-AK46
Higgins-Lapierre-Kostop
Dandenault-Chipper-Stewart
with Tanguay AND Lats back:
Tanguay-Koivu-Kovalev
MaxPac-Plekanec-AK46
Higgins-Lapierre-Latendresse
Kostop-Chipper-Stewart
Screw all the pessimism around this team, when we get Tanguay and Lats back we will be contenders. YES I SAID IT.
I like Dagger's shot as much as anyone else, but that's all he has. When Tanguay comes back he should be sent to Hamilton, heading into the playoffs the last thing we need is a guy who can do little more than skate like the wind and shoot the puck, especially when we have 7 guys who can do that better.

I have to disagree with you. I don't think we have many shooters. Now I understand that D'Agostini could be a liability on the ice sometimes, so my point isn't to disprove that. After all being -14 after 37 games does tell you something.

No, next week-end only...
The injuries and off-ice saga are ruining this team's season.

Our lineup, with Tanguay and Kovalev back, will have no problem scoring goals.
Lately we've been horrendous at lowering shots (and goals) against...thus I think Dagger should be sent down and players like Chips and Stewart kept up, especially for the stretch/playoffs.

D'ags is still AHL material. But I guess he is learning somehow. Without all the injuries, he would had been sent back long ago.

Definately need to keep the Pac-Pleks-Kost line together, they looked great out there last night. Dagger hasn't looked real good for a while now.

the game is going to heat up against the Sens, so i'd better have Laraque:
Higgy - Saku - Kovy
Maxpac - Plecky - André
Kosto - Lappy - Dago
Dandy - Chippy - Obama
Marky - Scneidy
Hammer - Komo
Gorges - Breezer (Another puck moving d-men will make us more aggressive, and Cube has been playing like **** yesterday)
Halak
here's my line-up

Yeah, unfortunately this team's centennial season could be summed up in this picture:

That wasn't my point though. He's a pure shooter that we lack on our team. Maybe limit his ice time even more and..you know...teach him some defense?

Another thing...why do you guys push for Chipchura instead of Begin?
The guy has been invisible. How many more chances should he get?

I called him Obama, because of his nickname Laraque Obama, i would never all a black men "Obama" for the sake of it.

I think...
Higgins-Koivu-D'Ago
MaxPac-Pleks-AK46
Kovalev-Lapierre-Kosto
Stewart-Chips-Dandy
No change on the blueline and Price still in nets.
