Isles fan here..

I realize that you guys have some bigger fish to fry at this point but I was wondering if any of you could help me out. My 12 year old niece is also and Islander fan and is OBSESSED with Mark Streit. She loves him, already has a Striet jersey from the Isles and now wants one from the Habs. I was wondering if there was a place that would still sell something like that or will someone still make one even though he is no longer on the team. Any help here would make me, and a little girl, VERY happy. Thanks a million.

P.S. Good luck to you tomorrow. I have always respected your franchise as the class of the NHL...I hope you don't take to big a blow tomorrow when the story breaks.

You can always buy the jersey and get the name stitched on.

Go to Amity Harbor Sports (Merrick Rd in Amityville ,NY) and they will take a Habs Jersey and sew his name on the back.

If you want it to be authentic, just make sure to get #32 on the jersey as that was the number he had in Montreal. You might already know that, but just in case.

Doesn't NHL.com allow you to order official jerseys with specific numbers and names? I've never tried, so I don't really know, but I guess that could be a potential solution.

I got mine with my name and number on it from either the habs site or NHL.com So I don't think getting marks would be a problem

It does, but it will not let you put current NHL players on the wrong teams.
