Why would he decide to abandon the CH for events that are out of his control. I would go even further and say what the heck were Hamirlik, and the K's thinking talking to a member of organized crime, they had what was coming damnit, why would Komisarek CARE. AT ALL.
Komi wont resign? No big loss as far as I'm concerned. He may be good at hitting and blocking shots but he has zero offense and most of his outlet passes end up on opponents' sticks. He'll be much too costly for what he's worth.

The reason he cares is because the next time the clowns on Antichambre and 110% decide to lie or blow something out of proportion, he could be their next target. After being here and witnessing this insanity for so long, players clue in and say enough is enough....I can have a better quality of life somewhere else and in privacy.

I really don't think he does! He was NOT happy last year, and has looked content this year when in the lineup, but I am thinking he would rather go to some other city where wearing the "C" is not such a burden. I wouldn't blame him. This is a sad sad ****ing season........and I don't think it is going to get any better. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the team miss the playoffs.
