not true. first off, tremblay knows **** because no one is getting leaks about ongoing investigations involving biker gangs. secondly, Richard labbe who took a nice roasting said, and i paraphrase word for word...

'there will be a follow up and that's it. it might take many months and that's all we know'.

this whole 'other names being mentioned' again sounds like a ruse to sell papers

Can anyone tell me why a lowpoint as a fan comes from the behavior of fans and media? that's fricking ridiculous, fans are fans because they like the team, not because of the media...the media can say what they want, it won't stop me from being a canadiens fans...low points as a fan for me? perezoghin's slash, Butch not having his jersey retired...things THAT ACTUALLY PERTAIN TO THE ORGANIZATION

From what I can remember he's always had a twitch while sitting on the bench.

yeah that makes a ton of sense. they're using credit cards to buy cocaine.

clearly these idiots have never purchased illicit drugs or they wouldn't

speculate directly out of their *****. maybe THEY should start

purchasing contraband with the digital trail that is their credit card.

actually let them get off their fat ***** and do some real investigative work,

based in some kind - any kind of factual reality

and find a dealer who will take a credit card as payment

they're so far out of their league; they have zero street smarts

and know nothing of what they speak of

Am I being called out here?

How does winning only 3 of our last 15 sound to you? The fact that we see an "annointed" saviour of a goalie wilting in front of our eyes? The 100th anniversary of perhaps the greatest sports franchise being tainted by careless behaviour from players, racist remarks from journalists, and overblown speculation involving cops showing up at airports?

Not exactly having fun here.

Did I say I was going to stop being a Habs fan because of the media? NEVER.

But it saddens me that this team, that I love, is getting attention for all the wrong reasons. What bothers me is there are some who seem to want to continue to speculate, infuriate, demean, and lecture the Habs organization about how they should conduct their business. The whole HOLIER THAN THOU attitude evoking from the media is clearly hindering the team's ability to perform on the ice, and now the reputation of the city and the media is potentially going to cause future talent to avoid coming here.

So to call MY rationalization of MY lowpoint ridiculous is way off buddy.

Your user name is ridiculous.

Jean Pagé is the stupidiest and most ignorant journalist in Montreal...

I can't believe this guy won several awards for the best sports journalist a few years ago... Prix Gémeau or Olivier something like that... unreal... sad...

Enough said !!

Why is it that all the trash talk from the media needs converting from French?

So does this mean the Kostitsyns...are just looking to get a rise?

http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/...822/story.html

"The document, a request to execute a special search warrant last week, mentions that Mangiola was arrested and released on July 23 while being investigated in Project Axe. After his release, he was overheard on a wiretap allegedly worrying over a stash of nearly 600 Cialis pills and two ounces of hashish the police had yet to discover. The pills, intended to help treat erectile dysfunction, are a hot commodity as a party drug."

"À ce que je sache, les Bégin, Latendresse , Dandenault, Bouillon, Brisebois, Laraque et autres ont plus le CH à coeur que les mercenaires qu'il a repêchés."

Begin, Latendresse, Dandenault, Lapierre and Laraque were all acquired after Gainey joined the Habs.

"P.S. En 2003, on a préféré Andrei K. à Zach Parisé et Ryan Getzlaf. Pas fort."

André Savard was in charge of the 2003 draft as Gainey had just been appointed.

Pas fort, Jean!

You know what that word means? If that's true then you can't really blame him for that. He has a wife with.......many desires for many men.

As for this article, I wish some of the more professional journalists and hockey commentators (Danny Dube, Martin McGuire, etc) would step up and lambaste these scum sucking, brain dead excuses for journalists. They are turning not just the Habs but the city into a laughing stock.

Yeah, Gainey has been drafting poorly and this imbecile compares him to Serge Savard, the same GM that completely depleted the minors while the last few years of his tenure had to be shown where his office was at the forum because ge was rarely there.

Maybe the executives of these papers, TV networks should give these reporting jobs to 17 & 18 year olds. they'll do a better job.

The article is in french. Basically, a electronic shop owner called the medias explaining that Mangiola was taking care of buying TVs and electronic in his store for the Kostitsyn since they couldn't speak good enough English or French. He said he wasn't throwing the money around and he was very responsible. He even thought he was some kind of service-boy being employed by the Habs for these 2. He said Mangiola bought these electronic equipments and he provided the retailer with the credit card number of the Kostitsyn.

This whole thing is worst than just sad. It's nothing at all.

Wanted to know why he had their credit card number? There, you got it now.

Show again how poor the management is upstairs. They don't take care of their players. That's Gainey's job to make sure when someone moves to Montreal, he is settled and know where to go when he need help with something. I've been repeating it for month now that this management is bad.

-Doesn't take care of foreign youngsters.
-Rushed Carey Price.
-Forced Doug Jarvis on Carbonneau's coaching staff.
-Refusal to negociate contract during season has cost us Streit. With all the drama now, you can be sure Komisarek is also walking away. It also makes players selfish on the ice to boost their stats.
-Didn't sign any superstar UFA since he has taken over.
-Lack of courage to trade any of our player for a better player. All he trades is draft picks for garbage UFA.

Fire Gainey already.
