Until the D starts playing hockey it doesn't matter who's in net.

When you refer to the "D", I hope you don't exclusively mean the defensemen.

Our forwards in their backcheck have been atrocious for over two weeks now. Koivu was BRUTAL last night as was D'Ago. The 4th line played in the defensive zone for the majority of the night, and there was a lazy effort from the Pleks line after the game tying goal in the 3rd.

Hamrlik and Schneider struggled last night, but the forwards did not help them at all.

I completely agree... We're giving too many odd-man rushes, because our forwards don't backcheck!

Halak will never have a better opportunity to gain the starter role.

If Carbs can somehow get Laraque on the PP, we are all set.

Good call. We are in the thick of a playoff race right now. We dont have time to let Price play just so he can gain his confidence back. We dont have the luxury of being many points ahead. At this point, if Marc Denis came in and gets us wins, them im all for him playing. I dont care who the "franchise" goalie is, we need wins right now, which is why im ok with this decision. If it were a different situation, then i wouldn't be, but right now, its fine.

It's refreshing to see Carbo make a good decision for a change.

I am tired of hearing : "Our goalies doesn't make the save"

I mean Halak has actually been pretty good during the slump

Not his fault has has to face 40+ shots and multiple breakaways/odd man rushes.

But they got Comrie. He's even younger than Schneider.

Stewart's never played 20 minutes. he played 15:24 vs. the penguins and 17:16 vs. the Capitals. Still a lot, but you're misrepresenting the facts here a bit.
