haha I was about to write the same thing....

You guys need to leave the panic mode 30 seconds...as long you are not taking drugs or hanging out with criminals, you won't have any problems, it not like the media will entrapt you...

After reading this thread, I truly believe the difference between the words ''resign'' and ''re-sign'' should be stickied on every sports forum.

Kovy's coming back.....and he's happy to be back.

We need to rally as a team....and we fans have to be behind them.

I heard Gainey speak today....what a calm voice through the storm.

Good post, agree 100%

But I can gurantee the boo's are going to rain down on the Kostitsyns saturday night. There are far too many idiots calling themselves habs fans.

I would like Komisarek to stay, and re-sign for us for a reasonable amount.

Many people, theorize Komisarek on the open market would make around 4 million plus.

Looking forward I would like to keep Komisarek but I would not be too keen to overpay for him...Do you really see us...with the cap decrease imminent having three dmen paid that much? (Komi, Hammer, General Markov)?

It is possible Komisarek leaves but I believe the main motivation will be money. Sadly.

As much as I like Komisarek...does he share the same love for Montreal and our organisation...Will he accept a hometown discount?

FURTHERMORE, I do not discredit Komisarek's leadership nor question it...but I really do feel at least in part...we gave him the A...as a measure to keep him in Montreal and show him how much we value him etc.

Komisarek, Higgins and plex play so bad that they will have to lower their demands...that's a way to see things. They won't have arguments ! Komi yes, though.

We could then sign em long term to a lesser amount.

I don't freakin' know what to think anymore... It would suck to finish 9th and lose most our UFAs. We could fetch pretty good returns at the deadline. The team better start playing right now or...Expect the unexpected.

edit: I'd rather win now

Maybe the habs offered a contract, and its Komo and his agent who want to wait till July?

It takes two to tango.

Maybe he doesn't leave...

Quality player and person and talking to a source close to him (albeit before this mob story broke), he said he wanted to stay and wanted to help turn it around.

This recent "media circus" (even if it is true probably didnt need to be brought out the way it was ) could have been dealt with much different.

Due to this week , i truly believe odds greatly improve of us saying goodbye to
Mike Komisarek AND who the hell can blame him now?

Lets put ourselves in a UFA shoes today.
How do we think he is feeling? I know how i would be thinking thats for sure , I DONT NEED THIS , and am i next? how do you know because the same guys making attacks today are still there to make the same attacks AGAIN and history shows they will.

I cant blame anyone wanting out or asking for a trade now. As a fan of this team i feel angry how its being needlessly ripped apart and targeted against year after year for just a "benefit" of a few so called Journalists. There has to come a time where enough is enough and hopefully we very near it.

I have not been impressed by Komi at all this year. If he demands 5 mill a year, he can walk the plank. GOODBYE! Hes been horrible this year.

For me

Komisarek = Commodore

So, no more than 4 million per year
