he's a bottom liner who can play PP. nothing more.
I'll take "stupid" ES play like this for the next 63 games: 1 goal/1 assist/+3/5 shots all in less than 8 minutes ES.

Not bad for a third line player...
It's make more than three games to be worthy of a thread on the main board but that's just me.

It will be interesting to see if Detroit can afford him in the offseason.

So are you blind or did you use selective reading to ignore the 17 points in 13 games?

Jiri Hudler is the #1 extra attacker of all time. That was classic stuff. No messing around.

It won't be easy at all. The Wings have to sign: Zetterberg, Hossa, Franzen, Hudler, Samuelsson, Kopecky. My cuess the Wings will have to let go 2 maybe 3 of them.

Okay a few months later and he wasn't just on fire, he's just an exceptionally good player.

20 goals, 29 assists (for those who aren't good at maths= 49 points), +7, and he only sees 13/14 mins a night.

But Fil he's too small, too slow etc... to be able to play in the NHL.

Isn't Hudler going to be a RFA this coming up season?

hudler is PP specialist, great offensive mind, Detroit has the best offense in the league by a mile, too bad we are going to lose a large portion of it

Just keep reminding the other GMs that they don't need a guy who is realistically like 5'7" and not the quickest guy on his current team. Maybe if it's repeated enough, they'll start to buy into the old conventional wisdom that he's too small to be a top quality NHL player.

A low team wont offersheer someone hugely. teams offersheets make sense for are gonna be 10-25 range. A team with average picks, and capspace. Most top teams are right at the cap so they wont be able to offersheet either. so your looking at 10-20 first rounder, 2nd, 3rd i believe for Hudler. What are the odds that first is ever as good as hudler this year? Very low.

Tampas pick will suck theyd be idiotic to do that plus they have so many forwards as it is. A good example of a team to offersheet hudler? Ottawa. Still have skill, have alot of UFA and guys theyre gonna get rid of for picks at the deadline so losing picks wont hurt them as much. If they make a big run and finish lets say 10th theyre a good candidate. If they tank and are bottom 5-8 theyll keep the pick. Infact Hudler for 3.5-4mill would be a great offersheet from Ottawa assuming thats 1st 2nd 3rd
