Omg, that bug eyed freak literally pissed me off anytime I read anything of hers.
What did happen to her?

I wish Larry Brooks and Mark Neverson would disappear.

Oh, and Linda Cohn too, I hate that broad.
and Scott Burnside, and Terry Frei, and I'm not really fan of Buccigross, or pretty much any correspondent for ESPN.

Oh god, I forgot that she exists, otherwise I would have definitely mentioned her. Thanks for bringing up bad memories, buddy.

Kara Yorio ... good lord, yes.

Interesting, though, that people who are all over this list (Brooks, Burnside, Campbell, Garrioch) probably have started more discussion here on the HF Boards than, say, Kevin Paul Dupont pf the Boston Globe has.

Was just coming here to post Dupont's name. Guy lost his fastball the day Joe Thornton was drafted, and now just makes quips about the secretive nature of injury disclosure in the NHL.

Riveting.

Nah, mostly Ken Campbell, THN take notice, this many people can't be wrong

Well I agree with Campbell, and THN in general. It is to hockey what Rolling Stone now is to music journalism.

Agreed. Proteau and Jason Kay are pretty bad too, they seem to get worse all the time.

I don't read a lot of Proteau's work but he is on a few local sports talk radio shows in Pittsburgh from time to time and is generally okay to that end.

In Pittsburgh, the Post Gazette has a writer named Shelly Anderson who always annoys me. She had a recent article where she referred to a goal by Andrei Kostitsyn as a goal by Sergei Kostitsyn twice. During a recent holiday break (I think it was for Thanksgiving or Christmas), she basically wrote a gossip column about what the Penguins were doing. Oh and sometimes it just seems like she does not watch the game but combs the box scores, without paying attention to the players first names of course.

Cox really is the worst, followed by Berger. Like another poster said before, they seem to go out of the way to take digs at fans, some of whom admittedly can be delusional, but they intentionally mis-characterize them as how all fans are.

I think the question should be who are the good hockey writers, much smaller list.
