Stumbled on this old Habs video.

Take a look at Naslund's shift at 3:10 and Carbonneau's rush at 4:30. Looks like a crushing loss. The spectrum crowd is really loud.

why won't Naslund pass!

what was Carbonneau''s line doing on the ice with 1 minute to play!

can't rely on Hayward to make the clutch saves

1986-87 Wales Conference Final Game 6....it was a crushing loss, since it knocked the Habs out of the playoffs.

Nifty move by Carbonneau, Hextall was huge that year.

That winning goal is the definition of a dribbler.

that didn't knock us out of the playoffs. That made the series 3-2.

Roy collapsed against Quebec that year. Remind anybody of Price last year?

Here's another great game

Because Patrick Roy was stinking out the joint. Roy played pretty badly in every playoff from 1986-87 through 1991-92 except for 1988-89, when he was very good until the Finals. Vernon bested him for the Cup.

Goes to show we almost missed the best playoff performance in Roy's career during '86 playoffs. As Claude L. scored in overtime of Game 7 against Hartford. Shows the patience we should have with Price

Because outside of his 2 Cup runs, Patrick Roy was a pretty average goalie for his career with the Habs. He completely stunk out the joint in 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, and missed the playoffs in 1995. His play in the 1989 finals cost us that Cup. Everytime Al Macinnis wound up for a shot, Roy crapped his pants.

I wouldn't go that far but Roy was definitly over-hyped. I will always have a soft spot for guys like Bryan Hayward, Doug Seotart.

I stumbled on this video. Awesome!!!

You can get really nostalgic on Youtube. That Bruins series in 1991 was epic, and it was something that really got me hooked on hockey when I was a kid. I remember they had a song for Andy Moog with Madonna's Vogue. That's also on Youtube.

Good video...I remember hating Neely, Bourque and Moog that year. I was so pissed off they beat us out I was elated when Pittsburgh beat them out. I taped every game until Pitt beat Bruins out and rewatched it about a dozen times over next month. Loved what Samuelsson did to Neely that playoff

How's that for hating a rival?
