I wonder if he still drives the Ferrari from some dealership who told him if he scores 50 goals he can use it for life. He got the 50 goals.

Confidentiality is not a joke and is not treated as a joke either. Fortunately.
Health care, I agree (as I did in my post). But a drug therapist does not automatically make you a licensed professional, it's kinda of like your Homeopathist, not exactly bound by anything legal.

That said, In Quebec, we have some of the strongest privacy laws in the world. We are big on this, and I am happy about that.

Whether this guy is a licensed professional or not is another question. Many times, they are just ex-junkies that "have gone through it."

Apparently, he's been spotted cruising country back-roads with Roch Voisine.

I think that was the case.

If no one else understands, I'd say it wasn't you who was drunk.

Of course you may be anyways, I'm just referring to the guy who wrote that post.

I've got a headache now.

Mcphee,

That sentence is a little vague. The guy you worked with walked in on his wife or Richer's wife?

If it was his wife, I understand why the bathtub belonged to his wife only.

But if it was Richer's wife why would that bathtub belong only to the woman. Didn't Richer take baths?

I worked with a guy, considered himself quite the insider in junior circles. His wife was living in Chicoutimi at the time, and he made a comment about his sons,Richer a few other players partying with a group of young ladies, and his wife or him, can't remember ,walked in on a scene in their tub. I just remember the way he told it being pretty funny, this guy had a lot of stories and I was never sure what was true, though they were funny.

I realized it was vague, but it looked funny, so I left it.

Translation: Pierre Larouche said it seemed like yesterday when everyone drank before 5 o'clock because the Russians played low techno music. Newspapers were lying to keep them safe. Nilan and Dryden forgot to fax God today.

This bold part made me laugh. In light of the complete invasion of privacy by the French media in the Kosty bros and Hamrlik the very idea of privacy in Quebec is a joke.

Apparently, you can disregard the fact the law will not pursue the Bros and publish a story about them thus causing defamation or libel and get away with it. We're big on "privacy laws" here? What a joke.

For some reason I have a bitter taste in my mouth.

It's either the thread, or someone peed in my coffee.

#1- french star from the 80's/90's...
#2- the player stuttered, and when he is stressed, he stutters more.

In all honesty, if he was trying to not name names, he could have done a better job hiding who he was insinuating he helped.
Lisa S. ?
Wait, that's too obvious... L. Simpson ?

Those are your only two choices? This thread or gremlins in your office. What about acid reflux? Or muffing the wrong girl?

I was in DJ's Pub on Crescent St. on one late summer midweek evening in '86 having a couple of beers with my cousin when in walked the American contingent of Habs that had just captured the Cup in the spring... The place was empty so Chris Chelios, Chris Nilan, Dave Maley and Tom Kurvers basically hung with us. Nice bunch of guys except Nilan, who was so full of himself, I was struck by how normal they "NHL players!" seemed.
Chelios, I might add, was the friendliest and I ran into him a couple of other times and he always had the time and decency, as his star rose, to treat us fans like we were long lost casual friends.
Yeah, Stephane Richer stutters, Claude Lemieux probably farted a lot and Brian Skrudland probably picked his nose... these guys are just normal people like you and I. Are they not allowed to party with pretty girls in a bathtub???

I, also, ran into Craig Ludwig in Cheers on a gameday Saturday afternoon in the winter of '89, drinking some flaming shooter type things with a pal, he was nice enough to sign my puck and he played well that night against the Devils.

Perspective... it's too bad the press doesn't want any.
