He is property of the Monteal Canadians and I see that he has 5 points in 32 games with the Cherepovets Severstal. Wondering if he was hurt this year or scratched as I see other players on the same team have played in 55-56 games this year. I'm also wondering if anyone can tell me how well he has played in the KHL this year, what his possible NHL potential could be and how close or far away he is to being a possible NHL player? Any comments or feedback would be great....thanks!
Can Timofei Shishkanov play the N.A. game now or is he KHL forever
Shishkanov sucks ass. 4 teams in 3 years in Russia. Every coach likes to work with projects like Shishkanov. Seems to me he will never put it all together just like Fedorov, Stolyarov, Platonov. Waste of great hockey body. AHL\KHL 3rd line material.

he did well for Vityaz', ok for CSKA - after that down the hill, but he did play better for Torpedo, than SKA
Anyone heard anything about Aleksei Kalyuzhny? Will he stay with Dynamo Moskva?
I didn't hear that he wouldn't! Would be dumb for them to let a player of his caliber and experience go, but I hear they are shooting for Yashin and Afinogenov and if both come they would have to unload some salary I presume.
Vasily Koshechkin was once property of Tampa Bay Lightning, drafted back in 2002. I do not believe they own his NHL rights anymore, I know he never signed with them.
Whats his contract status with his KHL club? Any news or feedback regarding his future status would be appreciated. Very hard to find any information about him anywhere.
he had a solid rebound season with Tolyatti and actually won a #3 position at WC this year, after failing miserably with Kazan' a year ago, while the rumors of his excessive attraction to alcohol were floating all over the league.
Any update on A. Pechursky? Such as what kind of season he had, if he is going to get any time in the KHL anytime soon, and if he is still on the radar for the U20 team for the upcoming WJCs?
Igor Grigorenko...was with Ufa last year, but seemed like his role was fairly limited. Is he resigning with Ufa and what are the expectations for him? I almost get the feeling his hockey career on life support.

you are almost right, he played awful last year and they tryed shopping him around but no takers. I am not sure if he's a free agent, I think(could be wrong) that he's got a year left, but his career needs a new jump or it's gonna be over soon. Too bad, as I thought he's a star in the making before the accident.

it's hard for a young Russian goalie to crack a KHL team. Really, who are the young Russian goalies playing in the KHL: Gelashvilli is 25, Tsaregorodtsev is a back up and also is about 25, Proskuryakov is 22 and considered a young player still, Gayduchenko is #3 in Loko (last year), Galimov was a starter in Ak Bars untill the PO Neftekhimik had two young Russian goalies Horoshun and Kasutin, the first one has left the team and he may end up somewhere as a back up, he's a good player. If am not mistaken Pechurskiy may get a shot as a #2 but I doubt it. So far, on paper he's #2 as Mezin is gone and Metallurg intends to have Proskuryakov as a starter, but that will change if not prior to the season, then definitely before the PO begin. Mind you, Metallurg also has Bobkov who's slightly younger and very talented as well
