The picture you posted didn't turn out so well, so I grabbed a more recent one.

Totally agree about Gomez, he sounds like hed have more fun if he was gas station attendant in some of the recent interviews. Who knows, maybe hes really down on himself due to his play as of late or maybe some of the rumors are getting to him.

Either way, suck it up and show some emotion. When things go well Gomez is a totally different interview, so its pretty obvious he cares. It may come off that he doesnt and i can see your view of him, because he projects that. But youre right, hes been incredibly drab lately.

Hopefully today starts a long string of changes that improve this team.
Best I could do. Not very good, sorry.

I'm very excited to watch this game tonight. I'm not expecting any miracles, but the coaching style will be completely different. Let's see if they play more up tempo and aggressive. I want to see how Nazzy, Drury, Z, and Gomez respond to it. I want to see how he deploys Korpi, Dawes and Pru. I want to see when the 4th line hits the ice.

I think Hank is on tonight and we win 5-1.

Nazzy, Rosey, Z, Pru/Dawes, Gomez.

Season starts today. 21 games to make a statement. Let's Go Rangers.

All I can say is this; if the Dawes-Korpikoski-Prucha line is out with the Rietz-Kalinen pairing we are in for some serious defensive trouble every third shift.

I think Korpedo will react well to Torts' system change. I'm banking on him for a goal tonight.

Regarding the lineup, Zipay has these D pairings:

Rozsival-Redden
Staal-Girardi
Kalinin-Rietz

I'm keeping my eye on the defense, I think the forwards will be okay.

Dang... That particular pairing makes me a little bit nervous tbh.

Rozy has stepped up his play these last months, so let's hope Redden wakes up and does it too.

Same, but I think this is Torts showing Redden a boost of confidence off the bat..one thing you can be sure of those is if he messes it up all game, he'll be on the bench or getting limited icetime.

Ah ACCOUNTABILITY, such a great thing.

Call up Anisimov please. Why do we need Korpikoski playing center when he doesn't have to?

I'm pretty pumped about this game. I've been so bored watching these low scoring games. It's going to be refreshing to see how the guys react and it has energized me for the playoff run.

PS: I think we should break out the playoff beards a bit early this year.

My prediction: One or two of Prucha, Dawes or Voros are traded at the deadline and Anisimov is recalled for the following game. I think Torts can get some good out of Prucha and Dawes, but they are simply just too small and won't last here.

there goes Rosy's game. i'm sure he will be hearing boo birds as he is forced to cover up for Redden's mistakes and being left to dry.

Eye, I have a feeling one of them are gone for sure. I'd prefer Dawes, TBH. Prucha is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum. I just want to see him get legitimate ice time with competent line mates. Let him play out this 21 game stretch and take hope that he doesn't make us regret him not being dealt if we can't re-sign him at the end of the year.

I see Prucha having a nice game tonight, with his motor running all game and him getting several chances.
