Hey cheif go look at the polls section and tell me that.

I didn't know 28 year old defensman playing 25+ minutes a night were on the decline. In that case I should go tell Pronger that Doughty is better than him. While I am at it I'll tell Lidstrom that Hickey has him dominated.

I think you need to keep the white stuff out of your nose and lay off the crack.

Jack isn't going anywhere. He and Doughty are going to be anchoring the D for many years to come. As was said before, the Kings have plenty of prospects and aren't looking to add to that pool. They're at the point where the trades they make are going to include multiple players/prospects/picks to land a top player.

Regehr wouldn't be traded for johnson because he's too valuable

In 5 yeas Doughty will be better than Pronger (Retired)

In 5 years Hickey will be better than Lidstron (Retired)

This entire argument is meaningless because our teams are going in completly diffrent directions.

You've peeked .... If you don't get your hands on that hardware in the next couple years .... well, than you've missed your chance for a while and will have to tear things apart.

We are on the incline, and all off a sudden everybody wants our prospect for their garbage! (Not Regehr ... see initial offer)

As much as I love to side with my fellow Kings fans, I think you're being a little ignorant here. Regher is a premier shutdown defenseman, no doubt about it. He's more valuable to Calgary than Phaneuf. Johnson+ would be required. That said, I wouldn't touch that trade, simply b/c we're solid on D with JJ as it is and shouldn't be trading away any more assets unless it improves areas of weakness.
