Any chance we get a nice pre-game bench swap a la Weight/Tikkanen? Maybe Gomez and Drury for JBo? Hmm? How's about Redden and Gomer for Booth?

I know. Off topic.

I wonder who gets the bench tonight in the 3rd because their conditioning is lacking?

LGR!

We need to score 5-6 goals one of these nights. It will provide such a boost of confidence to the players!

Hopefully tonights the night.

I'm going to say 4-1 Rangers.

Drury, Korp, Redden, Cally(empty net)

I believe.

Don't have a good feeling about this game. They looked spent last night, can't imagine they'll have the legs for this one.

I can't stand that chant... How about using the LGR chant more than 4 times a game?

Last time I checked we don't have anyone else. Couldn't be any worse than TOR outing.

Personally, I don't think we can afford to have Vally in net. Yes, I like the guy a lot, but we need our starter from here on out...

I remember the ADTHE streams went down a couple of days back in December as well... Hopefully they'll get back again like they did the last time.

They were the best streams around in terms of quality as well. Going back to 320x240 is painful.

Like the Caps game? Yeah, that helped.

But youre right, and if they do it tonight it will be different because its a new coach and philosophy.

I think this team is capable of scoring 3 a night if they get the amount and quality of those types of chances they got last night.

I have a bad feeling this game is going to be a wake up call for some of the fans on this forum.

Especially after playing last night this team is going to try to play an aggressive forecheck game against a team which plays the same way. I have a feeling Florida is going to take this game to us.

Hank stands on his head but the Rangers lose 3-0.

LETS GO RANGERS!!

That's going to make it tough to get into the playoffs and to make it through them. I'm sure Torts will improve the conditioning of his players if it wasn't done in the past by classier individuals. Lack of conditioning could help explain why so many of the little things have come so hard lately.

I'm thinking along the same lines.

New coach, new philosophy, nice round numbered anniversary. Tonight seems like the perfect night to put that outdated chant to bed. Give Potvin one last serenade and put an end to it. I just can't understand how a franchise with such a long, albeit mediocre, history allows itself to be represented by a chant that really should be beneath them. Who even cares about the Islanders now, let alone a player from 30 years ago?

If the Rangers can make this game competitive tonight after going balls out last night I'll be surprised. 6-3 loss.

Not too hopeful for tonight given how tired they looked in the third against the Leafs, but I guess that leaves room for surprise. Also, I seem to recall Florida shutting us out at MSG last meeting.

Link. Not that it's necessarily anything new. Just feel that it's relevant.
