about time, never liked Begin. Costs us a playoffs against Toronto and a P.O game against Philli.

Can't believe he lasted this long, IMO one of the most overrated grinders in years.

Loved his heart, hated the rest of his game, glad I'm going to finally stop hearing the rds lovefest for him/

What a ****ing bonehead move! Begin is very serviceable for this creampuff team in the playoffs..
Yeah we definitely need someone to take dumb penalties in the playoffs

Probably more of a favor to Begin than anything else...

I wish him the best of luck.

Some people will complain about any move Gainey makes. Bégin (who we got for free) was not being used. We decided to do him a favour by sending him to Dallas.

So this clears up some cap space for us, barely costs us anything since Steve wasn't playing, and gives Bégin a chance to play. All we had to do was take Janik in return.

I'm gonna miss him, I love his heart, but the harsh hockey reality is that he can't crack the lineup anymore and he's paid one million. Classy move to send him somewhere they can use him.

I'd bet anything that Rejean Tremblay howls in outrage about the ruthless pogrom aiming to drive all the Quebecers from the team that this is clearly and inarguably demonstrating.

Good there was no room for Begin anymore with Stewart up. He had his good and bad moments with the Habs but one thing is for sure, he always tried his hardest everynight and I'm proud of his contributions!

Yeah he cost us the game against the Leafs where they scored 6 goals!! lol

Against Philly we couldn't buy a goal. And how about killing the damn penalty?
Lets just ignore the fact that he played a good role in our ruins win..
Unappreciative ******!
