Kristo's Feb. 21st game on the Web right now

#18 White.

You can also see Louis Leblanc (#71) and Ryan Daugherty (#29) for Omaha as well for the upcoming draft.

For whoever is able to watch, I'd like to know impressions on Louis Leblanc. Interesting prospect.

Works fine for me. Audio might be a little echo, but video is there.

If it doesn't work with a direct link, probably try to go through

www.b2cabletv.com and then click on the hockey tab and then the USHL tab. Maybe it could fix the problem.

Yeah...

I should've said that for whoever was at work, put the volume as low as possible.

EDIT : just noticed i had 2 windows open. Don't do it, it's got to be the most annoying thing to hear him in double.

Kristo is fast! Always battles for the puck. Seems to be a nice playmaker. He might need to add some muscles tho.

I can see the comparisons with Koivu that have been made.

Thanks a lot for the link WS.

Honestly everytime I see Kristo I have more trouble understanding the pick. The negatives continue to outweigh the positives for me. I'd really like to get the chance to talk to Timmins off the record and get his thoughts on why they went in that direction. But who knows, obviously they saw something in Kristo so I just hope he'll improve and mature to the point where he can be an NHLer.

I did like the toughness Daugherty showed though. Not only in dropping the gloves, but he was involved in scrums and along the boards. I'd like to see more of him because he seems like an interesting project.

Are you sure you're watching #18 in white? Koivu is selfless, tenacious and courageous; Kristo is selfish and soft. I don't see the comparison at all, especially now that Koivu is so ravaged with injury that his speed is limited to short bursts whereas Kristo's speed is his best asset.

I hate doing comparisons (mostly because I'm terrible at them) but I'd say the Jason Blake comparison doesn't look far off as a max potential. Rico Fata with a poor attitude as a downside maybe.

Keep in mind that Kristo is still in high school and next year he's going to one of the top programs in the NCAA, North Dakota. He's likely a long term project that is years away. But I know for a fact that Timmins was really high on him going into the draft, not saying he can't have a bad pick but I know I wouldn't bet against him.

He reminds me of Grabovski.

Keep in mind Kristo has a fairly late birthday. He only turns 19 in June.

Just to let you guys know that keep the link in mind and go visit it as much as you can. They are just showing a random bunch of USHL games played before so you'd be able to see Kristo once in a while but also a tons of USHL prospects for the upcoming draft.

They will be showing his two assist game against Tri-City on Feb 21st late tonight.

Thanks for the heads up. A chance to peek at some of the USHL prospects that I normally would not be able to see.

Mind you, this his the first and only game I've watched of him, but I thought he looked good. Didnt seem selfish to me, was circling the puck around a lot.

I'm kinda routing for him even more than most other prospects because we share the same birthday. I hope he reps the 18th of June well.
