This last surgery on his hip is supposed to fix a lot of the issues he had at the end of last season. Remember he played pretty hurt in the playoffs and wasn't depended on by JL to score more or less just be a decoy to get other guys open for the shots. And it worked to an extent. His groin is fine with the routines he's been doing with the physical therapist out in Cali he was seeing a few years ago. Plus, I think being able to play on a team where he is going to shut Hossa up probably that he can't score as many as him (or something) would motivate his ass to really push it out.

Pens are on the outside of the bubble and may not even make the playoffs, giving up any significant assets for an injured, soon-to-be UFA Gaborik would be disastrous. If they really have interest in him, there'll be plenty of time to make a run after July 1st. Strange that Tangradi is already being tossed around in so many proposals, the Pens absolutely need a blue-chipper LW like him in the cupboard as a cheap top 6 option down the road. I dare say there's almost no chance anyone besides Staal, certain roster players (Gill, Scuderi, Satan, etc.), and mid-level prospects/picks are traded.

LOL!!! Between that quote and the... "My point is Kaberle is 31 and will only get older" quote from the PIT-TOR thread, I'm in tears.
