Pacioretty(10), Subban(15) McDonagh(37) & D'Agostini(41) - THN's top 50 for FW 09!

Habs list:

1.Max Pacioretty
2.PK Subban
3.Ryan McDonagh
4.Matt D'Agostini
5.Ben Maxwell

6.Kyle Chipchura
7.Yannick Weber
8.Danny Kristo
9.David Fischer
10.Steve Quailer

There's no age limit or anything for Future Watch..if THN doesn't consider them NHL regulars at the time they worked on the issue, they qualify for the list.

I'll be honest, he's one of our prospects that I really don't know much about. Seems like he could have steal potential though, from what I've read on here.

But all these threads about Gainey being incompetent and a useless GM tell me otherwise, in before "Timmins picked them all"

it's a pretty good issue.

Really the only problem I have so far is they left Daniel Larsson out of Detroit's top 10..

I've seen him 3 times at the dev camp. First day he struggled a bit with his wrist shot, but he's got a pretty good one and he's got breakaway speed as well. Hopefully people doesnt expect him to play as a power forward or we've got a problem...

I'll be starting threads about Habs prospects and the draft as far as games on TV over the weekend, but Sportsnet might show a couple of Northeastern games like they did during the tournament they had earlier this month. Quailer for me, right now, is Pacioretty without the physical aspect of the game. Not saying he's a perimeter player 'cause he's driving the net and takes body checks very well (one instance where Shattenkirk hit him pretty hard and Quailer never fell, continuing his play behind the net). Nice hands, great speed. Totally raw prospect that could be quite good in the end.

It seems to me that Quailer might end up being like Blake Wheeler. Will need to be bigger though.

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to post that. I don't mind, but doesn't THN have this stuff copywrited? Technically I might not even be allowed to post the Habs list

4 in the top 50. That's more than twice the average. Even one in the top 10.

Somehow I still have the illusion that the Habs doesn't have any elite prospect. Looking at the list MaxPac anf PK should have filled that role.

I think you can post the Top 10. It's the same thing with other articles, you can post segments but not the whole thing. Who knows though, I'm not a lawyer

Why Chipchura is still in our top 10 ? He's slow, no offense mentality and bad on faceoff ....

I wouldn't have minded posting it, but I didn't know if that was a big no no. I guess it's not the full list, so it's probably allowed.

Of course it's not good enough that the Habs scouting department have 4 guys in the top 50, you have to focus on a possible mistake. Gee I wonder if his name was Bob Gary you would be posting this.
