Nick Boynton To Anybody

He likely has played his last game as a Panther as he has been dismissed from the team and sent home. Can Florida at least salvage a draft pick for him?

I'd take him back in Boston for sure.

If all it takes is a mid round pick, sign me up.

I'd love him in Montreal but he's pretty expansive...

Dandenault and Bouillon?

Why would the Sens trade for a soon to be UFA when they won't make the playoffs?

They may want to unload Smith, but I have a feeling that it will be for picks/prospects.

Send him home to Toronto, he could do well here and we may need some one when we trade Kaberle

If he gets waived Burke had better pick him up.

Boynton to NJ for a 3rd round draft pick.

Or

This guy was on waivers before last season, and no one bit. I can see him getting picked up on re-entry waivers or swapped for a bad contract, but anyone trading picks/prospects for him is making a mistake.

To get Smith's salary off the books for next season.

I'd do that, any knocks on Smith? I liked him in Edmonton.

Isn't that what happened with Moore? Leafs fans think he's worth a 2nd now...
