Tacki Mac Hockey Blade Attack Pads

Anybody use these? Ive used the butt gripps they have and like them alot, but never tried this. I bought it for roller hockey because friction tape just comes right off. (id still use friction tape on ice)

in anycase, any reviews? (ill post my own when I get it)

The guy who runs the play-it-again I go to swears by thies things. I find that they tend to hold the puck longer and takes away from my shot. Not that my shot has much to take away from .

The people who I know that use them swear by them, the people I know who have tried them and don't use them hate them.

I think this one is going to have to be your call entirely. Any opinion you get here will be jaded.

well they should come in tm, and ive got a game on friday, so I suppose I can give my own experience with it. Im always skeptical about trying new stick things, but the friction tape just wont stay.

I haven't used the tacki mac ones but the ones I do use are nearly identical. I swear by them, so much better than tape. I bought a dozen franklin shot tec's awhile ago and I'm on my last one. I'll be using the tacki macs after that.

*Ice hockey.

So I used the Tacki-mac stuff today, (I ended up buying a new butt end tackimac as well- so got to use everything) and I liked it.
A few minor issues though;
Shot comes off way slower, but more controlled
Passes are wobbly (but that could have been me)
it def does not like hard redirection. Theres already a tear on the backhanded side. (but its still ok)

overall though, pretty solid, and Id keep using it.
