For sake of clarity, the Blues will not be moving any of Boyes, Berglund, Oshie, Johnson, McDonald, Backes or Pietrangelo for anything short of a phenomenal return (read: packages for Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, Lecavalier, et. al).

The Florida Panthers are sellers.

Those available are:

J-Bo
Vokoun
McCabe
Stillman
Dvorak
Gill
Skrastins
Boynton

If J-Bo is moved it will be done by Sunday night

Send offers pronto, those with the top 4 J-Bo offers will be approached further, those with bad offers will be informed that they need to re-work their deals.

Marc-Andre Bergeron (1.25M) – Marek Zidlicky (3.35M) TRADED TO RANGERS
Kurtis Foster (1.03M)

Niklas Backstrom (3.1M)
Josh Harding (725K)

Scratches:

Injured: Marian Gaborik (6.33M) TRADED TO RANGERS

GM's general mindset heading towards deadline:

The Wild are still in playoff contention and are looking to buy more than sell. With our current team, draft picks or “up and coming” prospects are out of the picture unless it’s a direct exchange meaning Prospect for Prospect, or team trading pick will be low enough making for the possibility of a blue chip prospect. We are in need of a winger who is capable of having 25-30 goal seasons. All other trades are to fill depth in case of injury. Having 2 true scoring lines with the 3rd as an energy line. 2-Way Forwards or players with history of playing in the trap will be strongly considered.

Core players (take severe overpayment to consider trading any of the following):
- Mikko Koivu, Brent Burns, James Sheppard, Tyler Cuma, Nick Shultz, Kurtis Foster, Cal Clutterbuck

Assets in play:
Marian Gaborik, Niklas Backstrom would be strong players for any team looking for a final push into the playoffs or to strengthened an already sound team for a deep playoff run.

Top 10 prospects:
Tyler Cuma D
Benoit Pouliot C TRADED TO VAN
Peter Olvecky LW/C
Marco Scandella D
Robbie Earl LW
Clayton Stoner D
Morten Madsen C
Justin Falk D TRADED TO SABRES

Draft picks in 2oo9:
1st: Minnesota TRADED TO SABRES
4th: Boston’s
4th: Dallas’s
4th: Minnesota
5th: Minnesota
6th: Minnesota
7th: Minnesota

Salary Cap Information for 2009

Actual Payroll 54,278,778
Salary Cap Payroll 55,088,444
Cap Space 1,611,556

TRADES
Canucks Trade Jason Jaffray To The Wild For Benoit Pouliot
Rangers Trade Scott Gomez, Frederik Sjostrom, Petr Prucha And A Conditional Pick To The Wild For Gaborick , Zidlicky , Weller
Sabres trade Maxim Maxim Afinogenov to the Wild for their 2009 1st Rd pick and prospect Justin Falk

Current Desires

The Minnesota Wild are still actively shopping Backstrom around with trade offers from a few teams already. For all other bidders desiring on of the Top 5 netminders in the league, the Wild are looking for an energy line centre or winger to include a capable backup netminder to backup Josh Harding while making a playoff run.

Ummmm... Pierro-Zabotel isn't a goalie prospect, he's the top point producer in the WHL for the best team is the league.

Has anyone heard from the Flyers GM? You'd think he'd be hunting me down for J-Bo.

Oh, and get your J-Bo and Vokoun offers in soon. Right now, The two front-runners for J-Bo are both in the Eastern Conference, but, I'll take offers until sunday evening.

McCabe can also provide a team with a good PP qb. How many teams have a need for a good puck-moving dman? I've read a ton.
