How about Clackson's dad, his name is Kim.

Phantoms to honor Braod Street Bullies.

That jersey looks rather weird.

I can't say that I'm a fan of them.

Since the Phantoms have done throwback jerseys for previous affiliates I was always hoping that they would do a Bears jersey and play that game against Hershey.

That jersey may look weird, but the Phantoms are currently up 6-0 against a good Portland team. Forget about auctioning them off, let them play in them until they lose!

Phantoms beat Portland Pirates 7-2. Pat Maroon with a Hat Trick, David Laliberte with an assist for each of them and Jon Matsumoto had an assist on two of them. Also, Lasse Kukkonen and Andi Nödl both picked up assists.

Since the Pirates are Buffalo's minor league affiliate, I think this week could be booked as Flyers overpowering the Sabres.

Also, of course a Broad Street Bullies Night has to have a fight in it, so here is David Laliberte vs. Marc-Andre Gragnani:

There must have been a hit after the whistle or something for Laliberte to drop em'. Prob his first fight as a Phantom?

According to hockeyfights.com, he fought Norfolk's Radek Smolenak in the preseason. He also had a few scraps in Juniors.

Not to mention another solid outing by Aubin.

Phantoms lost 4-5 to Hershey yesterday. Goals for the Phantoms by Ross, Laliberte, Szwez and Maroon. Andi Nödl had two assists and was named third star of the night. Jon Matsumoto had one assist.

Also: Matt Clackson vs. Grant McNeill

I think there was a total of 3 punches landed...all by Clackson. That McNeil is huge

Phantoms are having fun with Jerseys this season. Friday they are going to don a Spectrum-themed Uniform:

How has his season gone. His offensive totals are bit disapointing.

Phantoms end February with a 4-3 Shootout win over the Providence Bruins. Pat Maroon and Jon Matsumoto both with goals and assists. Jon Kalinski scored in between them. Claude Giroux scored the Shootout winner. Giroux and Matsumoto were 1st and 2nd star of the game.

This was also another solid performance by JS Aubin who has somehow clearly outplayed Munroe in February.

Maybe Munroe was overplayed in the first half of the season and is fatigued at this point?

The way things are going it may be irrelevant as the Phantoms are going to need a good run in order to make the playoffs.

Seems like every post has Maroon with a goal. How's he doing?

Pretty good. 21 goals and 21 assists in 59 games. Matsumoto actually has the same in 2 less games, but Maroon is only -6 compared to Matsumoto's -22 (!). However, almost the entire team is in the minus in that department. Maroon also has less Penalty Minutes (44 to 63) and a better shooting percentage.

However, Jared Ross has both of them beat: 21 goals and 26 assists in only 44 games, +14 and only 20 PIM.

I hope Ross makes it, its clear he is talented and a hard-working player to boot.

I don't know if it's been posted, but the AHL is showing games free all day today.

www.ahllive.com

Phantoms play Norfolk at 7:05 tonight.

Edit: Looks like it was only the afternoon games. Jerks.

I thought the Phantoms were off today...they have the rescheduled game against the NorAds Wednesday at the Center and are at Norfolk in two weeks. Am I missing something?
