I havent seen it anywhere, but Tony Marinaro on the team 990 reported it.

Bouillon's spot makes sense, since they traded Bégin for nothing roster-wise and Bouillon is now out. So we are left with Dandenault and Chipchura as our sole spares, leaving a spot open for him.

Didn't he get hurt this weekend??

Hopefully he's here to replace Brisebois...Love the guy's attitude, but he's just having problems keeping pace right now. He's played a lot more then we thought he would this season, and I think he just running out of gas.

How serious is his injury? Seems to me that if his injury is not serious, he might be taking Brisebois spot for a few games so Brisebois would be celebrating his 1000th game at home.

Dandy plays forward though...

I would have liked to see Janik play just out of curiosity...

Halak ailing O'Byrne recalled

http://habsinsideout.com/

Goaltender Jaroslav Halak, who is riding a four-game winning streak, missed practice because of the flu. The Canadiens picked up Concordia goaltender Maxim Joyal for the practice.

He's also our backup D now that Bouillon is hurt. Take Brisebois out and who do we have?

Higgins not at practice

As per http://www.habsinsideout.com/

Let the speculation run wild. Eklund(yes i know its Eklund) was suggesting on the weekend that Montreal and Calgary were talking top 6 forwards. Who would the Calgary forward be? Cammellari perhaps?

This means one of two things:

1) O'Byrne was called up to be the 7th defenseman because Bouillon is injured and Dandenault will be traded.

2) O'Byrne is part of a package that will be traded away for a center or defenseman.

Rumours were saying Higgins to the Islanders could be done by today. Blake Comeau anyone?
