If he trades Higgins,he better get Comeau because if he only gets Gervais and a pick,he should get fired!

You'd have to give something good to get Higgins... so far, you've said no to everything decent.

Higgins and Komi are buddies, they workout there in the summer and grew up loving the Islanders. Not to mention the Islanders have cap space too offer him a crap load of money.

it's the vinny to montreal syndrome. never mind with all due respect, the isles are

1) a joke of a franchise
2) potentially moving because of no arena improvements
3) avg less than 10 000 fans per game
4) need to way overpay to add anyone (joel bouchard of RDS who played with them for 2 years, always harps on this)
5) many years away from not only making the playoffs but winning a cup

yeah komi or anyone in their prime wants to play there. sure if and when the isles pay him 7 mill..the isles can then go bankrupt when the cap goes down. since my expos got ****ed by MLB, i now hate revenue sharing in hockey. screw the isles

Comeau was an assistant captain with the Kelowna Rockets...

If Higgins did it'd have to be an offer sheet.
