Sean Avery and a legitimate offensive catalyst for sure/hopefully

Moving minor parts like Prucha, Voros, Dawes, and Kalinin is possible.

I like your way of thinking, but I don't think Moses could get that done.

I think Frolov is realistic for a Dawes, Prucha, Sauer, pick type package

exactly my thinking. If they can't go big they can atleast send a message and go small with all of those names........Dawes I think can be a part of a bigger deal though.

Avery and Bell will be inserted so a few forwards have to go so at worst cut the salary

Only to see Avery return to the team. I just think Sather has left the franchise without any flexibility at this point. I really can't imagine there is a g.m. desperate enough to take any of our big contracts.

Oddly enough, I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised at that fact that Glen gets rid of Gomez. Gomez could very well be shipped out to make room for this big move..

I think he hangs onto Drury b/c he's his captain, and Redden (atleast until the summer) because he looks like a different player under Tortorella.

I would hate to lose Girardi though. I would even Substiture Rozy but I have no idea how that deal would happen if Phoenix really has financial issues
How about

Jokinen
Done
Morris

for
Gomez
Girardi
Korpikoski
Dawes

If there is to be an over haul I can't see it happening till the off season. By then Torts will know who fits with this team and who goes. Plus I can't see GMs taking on a lot of salary at the deadline. Alexander Frolov is on the market he's got 26 goals and 20 assists. He's 6'2 210 and only 26. His cap hit this year is 2.9, he's got one more year left at 4 million. I think Sather can get him without breaking the bank. Get it done Slats!

I would love for Sather to grab up Svatos or Frolov and Neil and trade away Voros, Dawes and Prucha.

Naslund-Gomez-Frolov/Svatos
Dubinsky-Drury-Zherdev
Avery-Korpikoski-Callahan
Sjostrom-Betts-Neil/Orr

I agree that would be great but who are you giving up for let's say Frolov. He isn't cheap althought cheaper than Svatos.

Most likely, 4 or 5.
1.)Sean Avery looks pretty probable at this point.

2.)A Veteran 3rd Line Center in exchange for Dawes plus a later round pick.(Reinphrecht?) With Tortorella loving Dubinsky with Drury and the Naslund-Gomez-Zherdev line, there is a hole in the third line center spot. Korpikoski is better on the wing, and it is very unlikely that Anisimov would be called up for the playoff run. If not a Third Line Center, a Borderline 2nd/3rd line Winger who could switch on and off with Callahan on the 2nd line.

3.)A serviceable 6th/7th Defenseman to replace the injured Reitz, who could easily sub in for Kalinin if needed.

4.)Voros for a late pick.

5.) I think there is a 50/50 chance of a prospect for prospect swap. Maybe, Potter in exchange for a forward in the same situation.

Naslund-Gomez-Zherdev
Dubinsky-Drury-Callahan
Avery-Trade #2-Korpikoski
Sjostrom-Betts-Orr

Redden-Rozsival
Staal-Girardi
Mara-Kalinin/Trade #3

Lundqvist
Valiquette.

Basically my dream lineup right now too and I think realistic.......grab a top 6.........the 3rd line then looks real solid and the 4th has been consistant

Neil i doubt it just cause I think we are pushing it by thinking they can fit in Avery and Frolov salary wise
