yes, Perrin's play is descending quite fast, if that's what you mean.

Alphabetical by team would me nice, and separating the March 2 guys (avery, preissing, nycholat) from the others was a good idea.

I would like to see the Flames pick of Morrison... he has chemistry with Bertuzzi and he's a pending UFA... it won't hurt

Wierd day for sure. Surprised at some but I guess their teams think they can make a move and need the cap space.

Sad... Thomas can't even make the 4th line on a fake team that has only 3 lines so far....

Perrin mouthed off to local the media the other day, complaining about his role on the team and wanted a trade. He thinks he's a bonafide 2nd liner, and felt that his stats last year, proved that.

He put up 45 points last season playing a lot of time with Hossa and Kozlov as his linemates, but this season he's been mostly a 3rd/4th liner.... 4th liner being the latest incarnation.

He has 15 points this season.

Does anybody know a bit about Tom Preissing?

How do you go from a consistent + ranking d-man (+40 his last year in Ottawa!, and in the + with San Jose before that for his whole career), with somewhat of an offensive threat, to being on waivers 2 years later??

What is the problem with this guy? I don't know very much about him but I'm surprised to see him on waivers.

Can anyone shed some light?

There will probably be a bunch more in the next few hours. The deadline is just over 28 hours away and it takes 24 hours for a a player to clear waivers. Most teams looking to make a move probably want to have those players either in the minors or on another team well before the deadline hits.

Halak jokes like that.

I just saw the other thread about him. Pretty sure I'll get a good idea of why his value has dropped so much there. Thanks.

preissing is a great 6th defenceman and pp specialist on a team with a good top-end defence core. In LA, this was not the case, and he was paid much more than a 6th defenceman.

When he was UFA, teams were offering good money, hoping he could step up to a bigger role. He couldnt.
