No, but I expect it will. Firstly, the Canucks need veteran checking depth. Secondly, he's a guy we want to keep away from Chicago and Calgary.

Will some team claim Peter Ovechky?

I have to think that most of those guys will end up clearing...

Season 2008-2009 was really the year of the waivers

A team could have started with 0 players and end up with :

Radim Vrbata-Brendan Morrison-Miroslav Satan
Jussi Jokinen-Sean Avery-Rich Peverley
Peter Schaefer-Chris Gratton-Petr Vrana
Gary Roberts-Glen Metropolit-BJ Crombeen
Alex Picard-Aaron Voros

Mathieu Schneider-Kyle Quincey
Ossi Vaananen-Tom Preissing
Kyle McLaren-Cory Murphy
Mike Lundin

Nikolai Khabibulin
Manny Legace
Martin gerber

I hope we get to a point where players agents dont get them way overpaid.

People must hate being waived

I'm gonna say that Satan, Morrison, Roberts, and Voros are claimed.

Burke's gonna take Morrison.

Perrin played for a coach who had no clue how to use him effectively. Don't blame Perrin, blame Anderson.

Roberts must be picked. There's something really wrong, like Lynch Weird if any team doesn't pick up this PLAYOFF hero. Iron Gary. Wow. He was one of the best Pens players in every playoff game he played last year, with Hall, Hossa and Ruutu. Hall, Hossa and Roberts gave everything they had.

Also Satan... I'm surprised if any sucka doesn't make a call for that mutha...... he got game when playing his A-game.

Morrison could fit in some teams too yeah.
